Hey!

I had always avoided the futurama comics from Bongo, because up until the other day I considered them to be similar to the really LAME Simpsons Comics I had read years ago.

But when I saw the first 2 issues being sold as a collectors pack, I though- "ah what the hell..." so I bought em and to my suprise they arent as sub standard as the Simpson ones.

Does anyone in Australia (Brisbane in particular) know if the crossover comics have arrived here yet?

G'day. I'm in Melbourne and bought the two crossover specials. They were easy to find at specialty comic book stores. Hope this helps.

Would this involve having to actually venture into comic book stores, or are they also being sold at places where normal people shop..?

Well I took a drive into Brisbane CBD 2day, found a place selling US imported Bongo Comics. Managed to Get Futurama #10 and Crossover 2.

Carbito- The mail order form applies to the Australian Distributor, as they are about 18months behind the US imports, they wont be sending the first crossover out for quite awhile.

It was 10 (I picked it up yesterday). The crossover won't be 'officialy' sold here for a looong time (We're up to issue 4, the first part comes out at 9, and they'res a 2 month gap between issue's) so I would recommend ordering them from a comic store. Just look it up in the ol' yellow pages. Or white, I dunno.

emanon- The place I bought them off was "Comics Etc" On Elizabeth Street across from the Myer Center.
I have another place near by, Ace Comics (Adeleide street next to JB hi-fi) which is recieving more of the Crossover #1 in the weeks to come.

I know this is resurrecting an old thread, but...

The Crossover Comic is being released by the Australian Publisher, apparently this month! So if u missed the first issue (like I did) it will be in Australian news agents any day now!

Also if u missed the import of Futurama Comics #5, the Australian Distributor has just released that too...

Actually I got them on Monday. The covers look familiar, especially with Milhouse and the Simpson house on the Futurama one (Why? I dunno).

Newsagents sell the Australian editions, but they come out months behind the direct edition. (they are printed on different paper and sometimes have different ads and letters, but apart from that you get the same comic)
To get the direct edition and stay up to date then yep, you need to go to a comic book store.
