RocketUSA has updated their site with a new image from their forthcoming catalogue on their new Zapp Brannigan Ray Gun. I liked the old mock-up better I think but it looks like they added some neat little doo-hickies to the final release of it. I thought the first one was more show specific and this one seems to be a little too much like a toy for me but you know either way I will be picking this guy up!
Last I talked to RocketUSA they said this would be released in January but knowing them I wouldn't expect this until late February or early March at best. Right around the time of the Brain Slug from Dark Horse.

Bankrupt, if I remember correctly it should be like 19.99. That is off the top of my head so you might want to check TFAW as I think they have had it up for pre-sale for some time now.

TFAW cancelled my pre-order, they said that the item would not be stocked, or the company may not make it.

Is that really what Zapp's gun looks like? Not that I don't like it anyway!

I do not think it is. I think War is the 'H' Word gives the best look at his -ahem- gun.  :) Off the top of my head I can't think of any other places but I know that it must have appeared in a few more episodes than that. Maybe Brannigan Begin Again or Problem With Popplers. That is why I felt the first mock-up looked better than this one.

Any ideas if this is available for sale anywhere in Europe?

I am not from the UK but I always hear about this Forbidden Planet. They seem to carry all that RocketUSA stuff. Oh, and the price of this is being listed as 13.99 which makes this even more attractive.

Thanks Bendo. I check the store out, but unfortunately they only have the old gun. They have a lot of interesting stuff though.

Just recieved an email from UniversalFun that this is probably not going to be released until late Summer early Fall. That is a bit of a bummer and certainly contradicts what I had been told by RocketUSA.
I really don't see what the problems with delay are as if you look at RocketUSA's site it appears that they have a similar type gun that they sell and that they are using a similar or the same body but with new paint added for Futurama. I hope that it can come out much sooner than Summer time as it has been over a year already since this was first announced.
