Here's the latest Futurama game European release dates and prices for PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube from Amazon.co.uk.

GameCube (1 September, 2003) £24.99

PlayStation2 (14 March, 2003) £34.99

Xbox (1 May, 2003) £34.99

*Prices in GBP

Looks like us lucky PS2 owners will be the first people in Europe to own the Futurama Video Game. Amazon.com does not currently list the game, would be released in USA before it is released in Europe I would imagine.

Well if it comes out on PS2 first it looks as though I will be purchasing a PS2 console.  :)
Thanks for the info.

How much do UK vs US dates differ?  Like, with other games, are they both released at the same time? cause those release dates sound like they could be for the US too.

Yeah, I can't see the game being released in USA any earlier than the first European date, March 14th. Usually games are released 2-3 weeks in USA before over here though.

:( I've got a GameCube, so it looks like I'll be waiting a while to play it.  There'd better be some diffrences between the PS2 and GC versions, but you know that's not going to happen.

Hmm, i've got a Gamecube, and it can't take that long to port a game from console to console, so they've got to change something! Also, why only £24.99 on the GC?

Dunno why the GC price is so low, if that's the real price hopefully it will sell really well! Yeah aslate, it doesn't take too long to port a game to numerous consoles, it may be that they are making sure the PS2 and Xbox versions sell reasonably well before bringing it out for GC.

Yeah, I got the Gamecube! Holy shizz, what is £24.99 in US dollars? Sounds like a bargain. Or at least the price of a Nintendo 'greatest hits' game.

There's something fishy about those dates. March on PS2, September on Gamecube, that just doesn't make sense.

Yeah, just doesn't make the slightest sense, unless a GC release depends on other formats selling Futurama well.

I agree. Normally these types of games (ones from TV/film) are multi-format, the same price (+/-£1) and release on the same date.

Gameplay.co.uk lists Futurama as being released on the GameCube on the 3rd of March 2003. Sure makes more sense than 1st of September.

3rd March isn't that far away. Two and a half months really. I won't be playing Futurama until june anyway, that's when my exams finish.

I'd imagine it will be released in Oz. Assuming you get most games, which I think you do.

It all seems abit fishy to me. In the latest issue of PSM2 they just had there first look at the game and in their game realease it says that Futurama will be out on the PS2 late 2003. Mind you they have FFX-2 in both Late 2003 and to be confimred so they might just be idiots.

I don't imagine the Futurama will be out anywhere in March, it's far too soon for a release of a game we have seen a handfull of screenshots of and heard little about.
