Hopin' against hope that I can find it somewhere. Its a separate issue though right? Like, not Simpsons, not Futurama, its its own comic? Then I have a chance, since special issues of Bongo I can sometimes get, like Radioactive Man, or Bart Simpson comics.
Incidently, Shadowstar, your avitar is perfect for those kinda posts, Zoidberg in a yelling position, and you saying something like AWWWWWWWWESOMMMMME!

This comic was pretty good, but it's too much introductory. #2 will probably be better. I don't want to ruin it, so look below. Groundskeeper Willie and Scruffy talking about universal theories was great, and Leela wearing sunglasses and helping out Lisa. I also liked Zoidberg at the plant. ..that's pretty much it.

Picked mine up yesterday and all I can say is that I really enjoyed it! The story is moving along well and I agree with those already posted that this is starting out more as a Futurama comic and not a Simpsons one. I applaud Ian Boothby on being able to pick up these characters so well and doing such a great job so far. Certainly this issue reads more and is more related to the show than Futurama Comics is. That is about the only thing that is off for me. It is a minor point but Simpsons fans who do not watch Futurama may not get the full impact of Fry and why he is so powerful against the Brain Spawn. There loss is all I can say. Another interesting note is that the Day the Earth Stood Supid was just on TV and it coincided brilliantly with the release of this comic and it makes me wonder if this was all some grand plan. Or I wonder if somebody at Bongo Comics saw the airing schedule and decided to hold back releasing this comic for a couple of weeks to coincide with the airing of that episode. RM

Being in Germany, I don't have it yet ... I'll get it in a week I guess. Be nice and copy your reviews over to CGEF here, as Ian (one of the guys behind it) will read these.

Oooh, happy day!!
I found the cross-over issue online at a Danish comic-store. Weeeeee, only 3-6 days of waiting.
Picked up Futurama Comic #9 while I was there.

According to the latest Diamond Previews catalog it has an advertisement for Futurama Comics 10 being released in November. I hope this is true as I am of the same feelings as you Shadowstar (less the swearing of course ). First having to wait until December for part 2 plus havine Futurama Comics on hiatus (where have I heard that before?) is just too long. I don't care how under staffed Bongo Comics is that is not acceptable in my book. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the Diamond catalog is correct and we will see issue 10 sometime in November. On another note, wasn't Futurama-rama supposed to be released in September? RM
