Damn, I need that Destructor, but a SDCC exclusive will be difficult to get, unless I pay a lot later at ebay

when you think about it $70 is actually a pretty significant increase from the original Destructor release. When it was first sold at the 2011 SDCC it was $40 including shipping (since it wasn't available on site.) That one was limited to only 1000 pieces too. This time they make no mention of a limited release. So if you are actually fortunate enough to get one at Comicon for that $70 price tag you are basically paying $30 for yet another Bender variation.

Naw, production costs have gone up quite a bit, only just recently.

At most it's only fourteen bucks over priced.

But it will probably be limited to 500.

Well it will at least go for double online considering Destructor alone is listed for at least $120 and that's on the low end (if you don't happen to win it at an auction, but even those go for around that price).
