If you get a tingly, anxious sensation when you view it in the box, leave it be. That will entirely go away within the week of opening said box. The hunt will have ended, so to speak. Besides, they'd be worth more in the future if you ever resold them.

So... I guess there have been delays in getting new stuff to the fans.

Toynami is known for this but still, where is my new Robot Devil Toynami?

Don't know how long it will last, but Toynami's replying to some posts on its Facebook page. What a novel idea!  :p

Alright sarcasm aside, there's some good news - it's just a tease, but apparently there's still some life in this line:

Quote
Toynami We do have some action figures in the works for next year! We will post more later when we are allowed to provide more information.

November 16 at 9:21am

The next big toy show is in February, so the new mantra here can be "Toy Fair or bust!".

I just ordered a bunch of figures to give as gifts this x-mas.

Have you done so as well??

You really should, it helps support the line.

That's a good idea, if the people I knew were into them as much as I am. And not strictly just PEELers lol.

New?

We don't need NEW! We need the stuff that we've been shown for the past couple years!

I'm thinking this eBay seller is a front/vehicle for Toynami to sell off overstock:

Camelot Collectible Toys

All the auctions are for different Toynami lines including Futurama.

The seller location is listed as Van Nuys, CA, which is where Toynami's office is.

What caught my attention is a slow, steady dribbling out of Destructors for sale.

Well spotted jabalong.  Interestingly, they value their limited editions very highly, over $500 for the GGB and $200 for the Mating Season Zoidberg.

Hopefully its not a "going out of business" sale!

Pfffttt, the line is not quite dead yet, nor do I wish death upon it.

But it's been in this weird flux for years where no main line content is getting out but encores and plush do.

So while I feel the pain of my fellow collectors.. I will not give up on this stuff.. yet.

But it wlll be interesting to see what actually gets made in the future... when even the fans are jumping ship.

And as for Camelot Collectible Toys.. that's clearly at least someone who worked/works with/for Toynami.

Interesting, possibly. I actually bought the Alternate Universe Fry and Leela as well as the Santa Bender and Robot Santa from them with SDB (slightly damaged box). 6 months or so ago at the time came to like 120 or something including shipping. I can't recall how it was shipped, but I was satisfied. It didn't come in an old beatup box anyhow.

I notice they have their I-Mens listed for 189 all the time with no or best offer option. Usually the inidividual sellers who want the money will put that option on it.

BRAND NEW MERCH. (kinda) -

http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TN1589

Personally this is the only set of these I have ordered... since they rep individual episodes, it makes them much cooler looking to me.

Cheers, for new(ish) stuff!!!!

Also the product description makes me laugh -

"Small, detailed... and happy!
Take home these Series 1 Wave 2 Futurama favorites - Alternate Universe Dr. Zoidberg, Musical Robot Devil with his violin, and Bumblebee Bender in an adorable bumblebee suit (that he's not happy about!) - in a fun 3-pack!
Each vinyl figure features the character in joyous form (except for Bender) and stands approximately 3 to 4-inches tall.
They're just the thing for Futurama collectors and fans alike!"

yall are still keeping up hopes that a company who gives two sh!ts about loyal customers is going to release. face it, toynami bombed on the last sets and now the collector's are paying for it. not to be a negative Nancy, but the world ending on december 21st is looking like it'll happen before toynami releases.

The nice thing about hope is that it doesn't cost anything.  ;)

The way I look at it is that the line is over and I'm at peace with what i've got on my shelf. But if Toynami ever gets around to making new figures, I can always make room for them.

If fans can come back to the show after it was gone so many years, then why not buy new figures if this line should be resurrected from the dead too. I will.

In the meantime, I'm not losing any sleep over it...

Another teaser on Toynami's Facebook page in response to a question about any more "regular" figures:

Quote
We will definitely have other figures in store for 2013 besides our Tineez. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks after the new year!
November 29 at 1:40am

Well "definitely" isn't a word that's come to mind with this line in a long time, so that's a good sign.

I'm guessing "new year" means news at Toy Fair in February...

If all we got are the figures we've been shown, I can be happy with what we got.

I know we all wanted Scruffy, Slurms and other characters but we'll have had a good group of characters if they can get Morbo, Lrrr, The Robot Mafia and Flexo out.

I doubt Flexo and the Robot Mafia will come out.

Probably a vinyl Lrrr and Morbo are most likely.

Update: I just got Tineez 1.2 and I must say that they are better than before!

My initial thought was exactly this.

Gender Bender doesn't even look that good. Where are the words "Gender Bender" on his tutu?

Either way I'll still buy it, I want to support the line and I have all the over figures. Now we need Morbo, Lrrr, Robot Mafia and Flexo.

Well, Otto last said they were making the boxart for it and that 2013 was the year it should be out.
I'm guessing this set will be out November 2013.

And this Destructor should feature different paint apps when compared with the SDCC version.. but I would wait and see.

Great news for those of us that waited for this specific set, and passed on the SDCC version!

if I remember correctly the spikes are a different color. and of course the box art.

not having gender bender on the tutu's kinda lame, but I can deal. it's a dream but that wrestling ring in the box or even made out of the box would be tits. if anything it'd be a center piece for all the other figures to be around, just like toynami does when they display at toyfairs.

Yeah I'd love to have the ring. I hope the Gender Bender writing ends up on the final product. It seems like a cheap cop out to not have it, like what's the point in them doing another Bender if they're not going to put all the details on.

I still have hope that we'll at the very least get Lrrr and Morbo. HOPEFULLY we'll see the Mafia and Flexo one day.

I think b/c it is a toy line that's aimed at adults (but is really for the anyone, any age, that buys toys) the term "Gender Bender" was deemed too offensive for a toy.
