Can someone who uses facebook shoot Toynami a message and ask about Lrrr and Morbo?

I shot them a message after Toy Fair appeared to have nothing new - but no reply, unsurprisingly.

Even more annoyingly, it seems Toynami has adjusted its Facebook settings so that user-generated posts ("Posts by others") no longer appear (at least I can't see them).

Seems like you can only now reply to Toynami posts. If so, yet another example of a company trying to shut off the lines of customer communication, rather than addressing them.

All the more ridiculous, since most of the feedback boils down to customers saying something to the effect of "put out some product and take our money!". Oh well.

Maybe SculptBoy/Otto will pop in again some time and shed some light on any other figures (hopefully) back in the works...

Hot damn, well that brightens up my day. How did AFI miss this in their photos?

Neveryoumind, Gender Bender looks great - glad to see he/she/it (lol) has the writing on the shirt and the three sets of eyes look great.

Never picked up the convention Destructor, so I'm just happy my patience looks like it will pay off (famous last words with Toynam...fingers crossed!).
looks like the shelves were missing some things in AFI's (probably) older photos, no stuffed nibbler and bender either

Toynami piss me off, they're given an awesome franchise like Futurama and put out figures at a snail pace.

As far as the UK getting them goes, I'd expect Forbidden Planet to get them.

alas, I will. just because ima completest, if that is a word. but how much y'all wanna bet toynami drags this release out until fourth quarter sales day (christmas).

I'm getting it, pretty much for the Gender Bender. I think my brother (the blue zoidberg guy on here) will probably buy the Destructor off me because I don't really need two (I'm a loose collector and it's not really worth having 2) and he didn't get the original Destructor.

Definitely seems a lot for 2 figures, despite the size of Destructor. Hopefully I can get one for £50 or less

The other Destructor was £50 on most sites, I doubt you'll get it for less than £60.

They're already listed on websites for $100-130 with a "retail" price of $150.

I'll wait for BBTS, b/c Destructor was only $60.00 before they sold out, got more and raised them to 90 bucks.

I'm thinking EE and BBTS will have the set for $70.00, please, just watch and see.

I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it'll be more than $79.99 dollars american when its actually up at BBTS or EE.

But my guess is still around $70.00.

I dunno, $70 seems kinda low, my guess would be $89.99 or $99.99 at best.

Heh, we should have a pool going.

So how much did Toynami charge for Destructor at SDCC?
TheAnvil

My bet is that it's $100 in most places.

I'm not sure what Toynami charged for him at SDCC, but it retailed at £50 in the UK. So I'm guessing it was maybe $70-75.

Actually (correct me if Im wrong) but as I recall the destructor alone with its AWESOME packaging went for $40 at the SDCC.

Yeah but they dont care what we say.. he was like 55 at bbts b4 they ran out. So now with cheaper paint apps and a 10-15 dolla bender he shall go for 150. Makes sense for a non le to be so expensive that only nutjobs will buy one.. only now with bender.

Normally, convention exclusives are more expensive than retail releases. So if SDCC Destructor was $45, I'd have expected the retail version to be that or less.

Now this one comes with an extra regular-size figure. Now it's been so long I can't even remember what suggested retail on these were, let's say $15.

So to my mind retail Destructor with Gender Bender won't cost more than $60. If we were doing a pool and had to pick an exact number, I'd say $54.99.

 ;)

I wouldn't mind paying more than fifty if it included the ring. but max ill unwilling throw out before its a hassle has gotta be a hundred. its just not worth it to me now that ive opened and displayed my figures. if its that much im sure ill find a gender bender loose and just get the SDCC version as its got shiny spikes.

effin chinese plastic. if these toys were made in like, indiana then I wouldn't be b!tching.

But would cost more.

That's an interesting question - would you be willing to pay more if production was done locally? Or at least, not in China...?

Personally, I could care less where the toys are made - it doesn't inherently affect the quality, which comes down to what a company like Toynami is willing or able to spend. If anything, manufacturing in China stretches that money further. The only thing I might be willing to spend on is more articulation (which Destructor could use), but that has nothing to do with where the toys are made.
