As proposed in another thread, if you are an individual (ie. not a business) and you are selling private collections of officially licensed Futurama merchandise, post it here, whether you are selling them to galavant around Europe or because perhaps you sleep in the urine-soaked hallway of your apartment building due to your place having become your personal warehouse. NO BUSINESS POSTINGS; All violations of this will be deleted. This is not, and will not be an advertising platform for any agency. This was only made to create some "order" with all the thread postings. And I have stickied it for your pleasure

Let it be known that of special import are the following phrases: "NO BUSINESS POSTING" "officially licensed Futurama merchandise" "for your pleasure" We're not supporting unlicensed (illegal) merchandise, and we're not here to serve as an unlimited free advertising agency for any business. If you're a business seeking to list your items, you'll need to discuss it with the site's owner and admin, [-mArc-] http://www.peelified.com/index.php?action=profile;u=45 and I imagine it'd take some cash to make it worth his while. One of the big advantages of this thread is that it will allow those who PEEL over dialup or phone to get their fix in one thread instead of loading several different ones. Finally, unless Randi says otherwise I think it's perfectly acceptable for non-sellers to post discussing the items up for sale. Think it's awesome? Say so! Think it's stupider than an extremely amateurish handmade Bender created from candle drippings? Say so!

Nice one Futurefreak! And the best thing is you got it for free... Sort of! Amazon is one of them places where i sometimes look but never seem to find any good deals. $75 sounds like a little too much for the ship but i suppose they are getting harder to find with it being almost 12 years old. Anyway enjoy and the accessories will look great with the Toynami figures. Come to think of it 12 years after the first figures were released the one thing we need now is a bigger and better version. If things speed up with Toynami this would hopefully be a possability?

Oh you're fine, you're an individual not a store. Too bad you don't have Paypal because I might be interested in it depending on the price. I don't know if there is any other method you would be comfortable with using, I just prefer Paypal because it's a third party electronically taking the money so it's easy to trace if there is a problem. I don't like all the restrictions and fees at banks nowadays but I have come to accept that they are a necessary evil in today's world You might want to also consider selling it locally to collectors or a comic shop. If you could, message me what price you were going to set it at because now you've struck my curiousity!

I could send a package via recorded delivery (which I'm going to go ahead and assume is just as good as obtaining a tracking number), fully insured, for less than 5 for the weight of one figure (packaged). There would, as far as I know, be no birds involved. This would cover France, Germany, Scandinavia, Spain, Italy, and Ireland (I'm in mainland England). Since you're in France, you should be able to do the same. Your "package with a tracking number" option smacks of charging more for something that's not really necessary.
Of course I have bought nothing from you. I do not intend to buy anything from you. I think that you are ripping people off. Why would I give you any money?
As I've said, people can find better deals than you are offering, and should therefore not buy from you. You might also want to work on your English, punctuation, capitalisation, grammar, sentence construction, and attitude. They all stink.
Look, I'm offering you helpful advice. That's worth more than money.

Everyone here should be aware of e-bay pricing if they are buying stuff online. Helpful advice, but if lamecius' buyer was in say, the U.S., they look like they are around the price, perhaps a few dollars more (though I never buy stuff outside the U.S. except maybe Canada).
I don't believe they are purposefully trying to rip people off, but try to cover the costs to anyone in the world like U.S., as I am sure these figures cost more than $5 to them originally. The figures left for sale are saturated in the market, if I recall they started with slightly less easier to obtain figures which I can see sold fast.
Helpful advice tnuk, but anyone who has money for a Paypal account should be adult enough to make their own informed decision about whether a deal is good or not for them (like I said, I don't buy from out of the country because tracking can become an issue, as well as customs/import fees).

If you don't like the prices he's charging then you don't have to buy anything from him. And if you wanted to offer "helpful advice" then you could have just asked about the shipping charges rather than calling names. Attacking his English on top of it when it's not his first language is just lame. By the way, I got Zoidberg & Fry from him for cheaper than I would have paid on ebay.

you have not read ? "if it is to say some shit about people who post you can go elsewhere"
Oh, I read that. I also won't be going elsewhere. Helpful advice tnuk, but anyone who has money for a Paypal account should be adult enough to make their own informed decision about whether a deal is good or not for them (like I said, I don't buy from out of the country because tracking can become an issue, as well as customs/import fees).
This goes hand-in-hand with this: If you don't like the prices he's charging then you don't have to buy anything from him. Whilst this is true, it's not going to stop anybody who might be stupid enough not to realise that they're paying over the odds for shipping from doing so. I think that ripping people off in that way is a pretty crappy thing to do. ...if you wanted to offer "helpful advice" then you could have just asked about the shipping charges rather than calling names. Attacking his English on top of it when it's not his first language is just lame.
Firstly, this is an English-language message board. Anybody using it ought to have a good grasp of English and be able to articulate what they want to say without sounding like it's been Babelfished from French to Spanish to Italian to German and then into English. They should also be able to use capitalisation and punctuation correctly whatever language they're blabbering in. By the way, I got Zoidberg & Fry from him for cheaper than I would have paid on ebay.
As your profile does not display certain information (such as location), this is a pretty meaningless statement. In addition, eBay prices are not the only indication that 17 is too much to pay. A quick google search reveals that these are actually available for 12 to 130 including shipping (to my location). The 12 packages don't include the Robot Devil pieces, which accounts for the difference in price. If you paid the prices listed in the first post (31 for the two would be the lowest, based on the prices still up. Around 130 seems like it makes more sense), then you probably paid over the odds. Enjoy the thought.
