OMG, KIT!!!!!! Only one Futurama Knight Rider crossover toy was made, ever!!!!!
I'd pay $4000.00 for that alone!!!!!
First off, it's KITT with two T's (Knight Industries Two Thousand). I'm a stickler for spellings, heh. KITT was even my avatar from 2006-2012 (and would've stayed the same had people ID'd me as a woman with it a bit better ). With this in mind you see why I have so boldly singled out your post with rapt interest. Do tell what exactly you were talking about, as I'm easily confused. I'm not sure where you saw this if it was in the super large auction... I saw a Kif, but nothing vaguely Knight Rider included. I'd adore owning such an item surely. Knowing that Hot Wheels is releasing KR stuff, and Minimates has too, it's not entirely impossible for a Futurama parody or license of some sort I suppose.
I know it's Kitt. I was just making fun of the stupid ebay listing. Jesus, this site is no fun.

Zoidy: The guy revised the auction to correct Kif's incorrectly spelled name (perhaps he felt foolish being called out on the internet?) and dropped the auction a penny. You can tell because it says "Last Revised x time". Lol. Now it's a real bargain! EvilPDA: Using SuperKing's head for your Burglar Bender is a brilliant idea, well thought. Also I am VERY surprised that you only have 8 figures. The way you talk about all your ideas, I was sure you had at least one wall cabinet of just Bender I don't know whether we should be discussing stuff like that in this thread or "What do you have?" thread though, since this one may be better for new releases, and rants on the delays for new releases haha. Edit: I've cleaned up this thread a bit to keep it more ontopic

Well, damn, no wonder that made no sense to me! I was like "I see Kif, but nothing like Kit anywhere..." I completely missed the Joke Tram like usual. God, I should just stop trying sometimes.
Yeah, it was just a crappy joke/mistake... no biggie. Here's a real K.I.T.T. toy: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=DMC11772&mode=retail

I broke down and got the SDCC Santa Bender & Robot Santa, and SDCC Alternate Universe Fry & Leela. Someone listed some cheaper with minor imperfections on the box, and since I am going to display them anyway, I got them. I am trying to see if there is any noticeable difference between this Santa and the BAB one but I am not seeing any (which I knew already, I just wanted Santa Bender) - did anyone else notice anything? I haven't taken them out of the plastic yet because I still need to take photos.
The alternate universe duo is okay, I just wish Toynami had given them accessories (which before I ordered I knew they didn't come with, but there are so many "extra" accessories from others I figured I could give them to 'em).

Yeah, I was kinda surprised by that as well. The first thing I thought was, well, I could have found a hat like that at the craft store and put it on him...
I'd never get around to painting the figures though (and certainly not that exact) so partly why I caved and got it.
I did notice the hat on the Robot Santa was just the plain one. I need to reglue the tommy gun to the arm, I broke it a while back bah.
I have to say, looking at these, and then the Encore line Toynami has put out (like the Bender I just purchased for the extra Nixon head I got), they've gotten really lazy with the paint jobs. I am a picky buyer, I look at them all when purchasing in person to see which has the least flaws - but when I was looking at the Encores, man, they all had problems - uneveniess, subtle smudging, like damn, you pay that price for a figure at least have it decent looking enough and not looking like some $3 toy...

I switched eyes on Chef Bender and Top Hat Bender (I think that is the regular one) and they fit fine.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person here who's overly anal and meticulous about the quality/ in inspecting the figures and getting your money's worth. My Talking Bender has a so-so paint app, not the worst but could've been a tad better and I got him anyways because he was the only one available to me in-store. These figures sadly are becoming what I'd consider "buy in-store only", meaning I'd never trust Toynami enough to blindly buy one online, merely praying the paint apps are done with little to no flaw. It's really a shame too because they're so beautifully sculpted (... with no articulation in elbows/knees [sans Fry], which is a different rant). If I knew how to customize figures I'd buy up some especially sloppy figures and redo them myself, maybe add joints too.

what i never got about toynami was, they got the original MAC molds but didn't really use them to their full potential. they used nibbler from these accessories but didn't include a litterbox, they used most of benders aswel. why didn't they use the articulation from the original leela is beyond me. i mean, she's at an awkward stance so they coulda changed how her hips were but the toynami version is sh!t compaired to the MAC one. atleast with the MAC one you can bender her arms and her hairs the right color. oh and the chef bender is waaay cooler imo than the toynami one. just the removable hat and cape make it. they should totally do another planet express ship, i'd like to see how toynami takes a whack at it, maybe they could make a 6 inch one and use the same blisters. exclue the aliens tho, unless theres room.
i don't really know if my figures have defects in the paint. well i know my alternate universe leela has a flaw on her left leg. but since i haven't opened but a blue zoidberg, and the robot santa and bender sets, i won't know until i get the perfect display case and eventually opened all of them to find out. but i'm with you on the 'buy in-store only' alas, i've onle ever seen four futurama figures at a store in my city. so it's not like i can just go out and buy 'em, sadly; i have to go online and take a risk. bullocks if you ask me.
