Question for Aussies who have futurama already

I'm getting sick and tired of waiting for the r4 release of season 1, with the ongoing delays and postponements (now its supposed to be november). I've been considering buying from Amazon UK, but it looks like I will have to fork out $150    for the box set.

So what did you other australians have to hand over for the r2 futurama dvds when you imported them?

November?! ARGH!! I thought June 30th!! Who/where told you november? That's ultra-sucky.

I'm sorry I can't tell you where I read it. On the newsgroups I think. Some dvd website which I've never been to said it. I'll still wait for the june 30 deadline as stated by "MichaelD" on his site. But if there is still no confirmation with one week to go, I will seriously consider ordering from the uk.

Oh well, I didn't bother waiting. I found a place selling the box set for roughly $86 Australian. Try Bensonsworld.co.uk. Amazon was going to cost me $150. Then this other place Blackstar was going to cost $110. So when I found the $86 one I jumped on it.

When the R4 release does happen, the price will probably be around $80 anyway, six bucks more won't matter.
