Well I'm not looking for where it is available to purchase, but can anyone tell me what it tasted like? It varied from person to person. No, wait, I'm thinking of Soylent Cola. Never mind.

So I am bumping this because I found this quite mind-boggling. There are 4 cans of Slurm energy drink right now on the bay and it's already at close to $90 with shipping wtf??? I can understand wanting to get one for the novelty of it (I got one years ago as I stated, and kept the can as a souvenier) but cmon! They taste just like the other Romulan Ale and Pacman drinks. Not worth it. *edit* I've also merged a few older Slurm threads for cleanliness

One is online right now. Pretty ridiculous how much these go for considering it's a $2.99 product. Tastes just like some of the other tv themed soda from that company except the can is different. Oh well, at least I had the one. I gotta find the can and put it on my shelf or something.

if only they'd make more slurm
Green cola (or a similar fizzy, sweet drink) with a can facelift would probably be worth Coke's time and investment to manufacture and sell as slurm, even if only for a limited run. Younger kids (even those who've never heard of Futurama) would gleefully guzzle down green ooze, and geeky shops would stock it (they'd probably sell out quickly, too). Heh, I bet university bars and the like would do a roaring trade in cans of "slurm". It's just a question of the right distribution network, price point, and marketing strategy. Coke have the resources to pull it off, but it wouldn't exactly be "cornering a lucrative market" for them. I know I'd drink something fizzy, sweet, and green in a slurm can rather than any of the pop/soda that you generally get all over the UK. I'd probably choose root beer over slurm, but we don't have much of that over here anyway. I don't think that for the sake of a piffling few hundred thousand pounds profit a year, Coke will do this though. So, yeah, it'd be nice to see slurm rise to popularity in the real world, but it's probably not going to happen.
