Fair enough. Issue #63 should be out in the UK on Thursday.

So I got Issue #63 yesterday, so why does the cover of 'Boomsday!' have almost nothing to do with the actual events in the story?

So I got Issue #63 last Saturday, and one thing really annoys me, Titan's description of Fry:
"Normal bloke transported 3000 years into the Futurama, where he has made plenty of new friends - and 'frenemies'...!"

I approve. Of Freako. Not Titan.

We now have info on Issue 63. Apparently we no longer trust Bender to do the delivery alone, which is fair enough. Space suits or remote control probably would have been a better idea though, but I suppose old Farnsy is a mad scientist, so I'll let it slide.
Thanks for the update.. I just checked a little while ago and this wasn't up yet.

Dunno if anyone here is missing some issues in series, but someone is selling their comics online in group lots, here is one of them, check out their other items for the others. Just thought I'd link it because the starting bids aren't bad, especially for the one I linked to.

This is sort of not all that related, but I was wondering if anyone knows when the toynami figures series 10 comes out. If u know email me at nicolas@mayandco.co.uk
Actually... we do have another thread... but maybe... we should all write Bongo and ask them about Toynami's issues with Futurama Series 10 and the alike... and thus buy more comics for answers... and get real answers from that Louis dude who runs the Q/A section. He seems pretty much "on the ball" when it comes to info-tainment news.

Writing and art. One guy did everything except the lettering, which along with the fact that there was only one page was one of the two good things. It looks like he's got one style of art he can do and only has a basic understanding of Futurama, as the plot could easily have been used in any series where there is a news program.
If you're talking about the one-page Dean Rankine story featuring Linda and Morbo, the whole point is it's supposed to come off looking like a fanart comic strip, due to the intentionally amateur artwork and very vague humour. He's done quite a lot of similar send-ups at the back of Simpsons Comics in the last year or so. I know it looks like they've brought someone in with little experience and hoped for the best - it's all intentional, he's a professional comedy and all-ages comic book writer/artist. I can understand why some people here may not like it (I know there are those that think every issue should look and feel exactly like the show), especially if unfamiliar with the Simpsons Comics 'stories' he has done. I don't mind them to be honest, some of them are a bit stupid, but others give me a little chuckle, and it's something nice and fresh, especially if the main story (like in the latest Futurama ish) is pure suck Speaking of the main story this month, I honestly didn't like it. It's a shame because I really like Jesse McCann's Simpsons work, but so far I'm not too fussed on his two Futurama issues (Steampunk'd was way better than this though). I just thought it was too science fiction-y and less comedic for it's own good, and the whole robot children thing seemed like it a fan script. John Delaney's art wasn't up to it's usual standard either, it had a very rushed feel to it. Honestly, all of the latest comics (Futurama, Simpsons, Bart, etc) have all been below standard, I'm hoping it's just because of the transition between Bill Morrison stepping down and Nathan Kane taking over as editor/creative director. Hopefully the next issue is better.

Got issue #64 (US issues #60 and #61) on Wednesday, I enjoyed Troop Grit more than The Bot Who Cried Wolf, and I liked how it made reference to the previous issue. The living planet was super cool too.
