Holy crap! These came out of nowhere! Deffo gonna get one or two. :D

Can anyone tell who the two blacked-out secret figures are on the box next to Amy?

Tachyon actually posted about these back in November. The chase figures appear to be Hedonismbot and Donbot.

Really SpaceGoldfish?  I love the choices.  I'm glad that they included some of the less well-known characters like Hyperchicken & Elzar.  I'm not thrilled with the New Justice Team, but they're definitely not a bad edition, they just could have made better ones (so it's pretty much like Nudar was to the Toynami run).  My only complaint is that Amy looks a little bit off for some reason.

Also, Hedonismbot is in the line along with the Donbot as a hidden figure.

Another thing is that if anyone else seems to have trouble identifying what's in Calculon's hand, it is a grammy/oscar/slurmie or something.

EDIT: Hyperchicken, not Hypnotoad.

I want the brain slug. Would be cool if the shape matches Toynami Hermes' head.

Yes, Calculon has an award in his hand.  You can get a better look at them here... http://www.kidrobot.com/ShopAll/DesignerToys/MiniFigures/FuturamaVinylToySeries23.html
Amy is by far the worst looking on in the series.  It seems they have a hard time getting the females right in this line but Im excited nonetheless.

Maybe I'm just biased because I just want some of my favourite fembots as mechandise: I love the designs for Fanny, Angelyne, the Crushinator and the Countess De La Roca.   I think the fembots often have some of the coolest character designs on the show (the ones on the robot planetoid were especialy beautifull designed).   The Amy one is very cute, is her accessory some sort of raygun?   Couldn't they have thought of something cooler?

What I really would love a figurine of too is chubby bespectacled eight year old Amy.  She just looks adorable, and is the most adorable thing on the show after baby Crushinator.

Accessory analysis:
Hermes - Brain Slug
Elzar - Spice weasel
Super King - Crown and Cape
Captain Yesterday - Medallion and Cape
Kif - ???
Calculon - Somebody's Oscar
Cloberrella - Miracle Cream (and Cape?)
Roberto - Stabbing knife
Amy - Party board
Hyperchicken - briefcase full of children
Donbot(?) - hat(?)
Hedonism bot? - ???

As with last series, these are some great accessories.

Hyperchicken is the rarest at 1/80.  Behind him the rare ones are Calculon, Elzar and Hedonismbot.  I can't remember their specific ratios, but from the cases Ive seen opened, Hedonismbot is the rarest of those three.  Cant wait to get my case in the mail! Donbot is a chase, but I think you get 2 per case so he would be 2/20 (not super rare).  I may be selling my extras if anyone is in the US and interested.

For a full case from the Kidrobot website, it'd cost $300.18 (including shipping), which equates to £180.30. :O_o:

I just checked the numbers and would say, these should be the rarities for series 2:

Fry.................12/80
Bender............12/80
Hermes.............8/80
Amy.................8/80
Elzar................3/80
Hyperchicken.....1/80
Kif...................8/80
Leela..............12/80
Calculon...........2/80
Roberto............4/80
Hedonism Bot.....2/80 (10/80 - Donbot)
Donbot.............8/80 (10/80 - Hedonism Bot)

On eBay you find seven Donbots and one Hedonism Bots at the moment. As the super rare figure is Hyperchicken already, I expect rarity of Hedonism Bot to be a little bit lower resulting in 2/80.  Donbot is as rare as Amy or Hermes and his price should decrease very soon.
But with Elzar, Hyperchicken and Hedonism Bot we have 3 rare figures which will increase the price for getting a complete set.  :hmpf:

Have you tried Star Action Figures? I've got a full set ordered for £140.

Okay, the rarities for Donbot and Hedonism Bot should be correct. Here is my result:

F | F | F | R | B
A | H | K | A | B
D | D | H | E | B
L | L | L | K | C

where H stands for Hermes. Well, I've got Elzar and Calculon. I expect you get either Calculon or Hedonism Bot (alternating per case). And you get either Elzar or Hyperchicken. So once again, I've got the most common variant of the cases. ;-)

It would be cool to see other results especially the exact positions in the case.

I'm a little behind. Has anyone been able to find these in the stores in the states? Debating whether to order some of the cheaper ones online or wait to see if I get some rare ones in blind boxes. Barnes and Noble had Series 1 but I don't think they have series 2 :(

Just opened my full box, got everything except Hyper-Chicken & Calculon.

I think they're pritty poor actually, the first series was far better. Elzar is my favourite.

This time I was pretty much just after the brain slug. Bought two. Got Hermes and Hyper Chicken. Brain Slug is the best part and goes well with Toynami's Hermes. Kidrobot Hermes himself is a good effort. Chicken's ankles are a little messy looking and the briefcase looks more like a grill, still glad to get one of the four non-toynami characters though.

Word on the street is there is a 6 inch robot santa coming in October from Kidrobot.  EE had it up for preorder for a few days and then took it down shortly after I posted in the kidrobot forums.  Im 99% sure this will be a go though.

Just finished my KR display....

Wow!

I've got a couple of Kidrobot sets squeezed into little boxes from the Container Store. But I'm amazed by the creative displays like I've seen from people who are really into Kidrobot.

Love how you've got Slurms sitting in the middle on a Slurms can pedestal - that's inspired.*

(*Is the can empty? If not, be careful. When I was young I used to have a Coke can collection, which all came to an unfortunate end when they started exploding!  :laff:)

A question, where do you get those transparent pedestals most of the figures are on?

 :)

Oh yeah, meant to mention this too. Sweet!

How did you come to own those arcade games? Got anymore? What's the rest of the room look like? And when can I come over?

The funny thing is, that Slurms is the first kidrobot and collectible I bought that started my deep spiral into toy collecting.  The can is from bender's game of bluff so it is empty.  I collect arcade games too and these are my only two at the moment.  Im in an apartment now so the rest of the room is a bed with two bookshelves on the other side.  My wife wants to keep it as a guest bedroom, but when we get a house the full collection will be unleashed.  I rotate things in and out of the display case so a full Toynami futurama display should be coming in the next few displays or so ;)

A question to the Kidrobot mini series collectors:

How do you assemble the accessories of Super King Bender??? I cannot put his cape over his head, and his head is not removable!!

Anybode here who has already put his cape to the right place withput cutting the cape or head off with a knife?

The head should just remove very easily, you put the cape down and then reattach the head over the cape :)

The head was glued with two drops on the inside and hardly removable. I managed to get it off now with a lot of strength and a knife. Now it can be removed easily indeed.  ;)

They do make a Robotic Santa figure, but not the one from Futurama. Someone probably just got the two confused, or something.
