Looks like Kidrobot is releasing a pretty sweet mini series Aug 13...blind boxed though. A few figures have already shown up on eBay with some great accessories, especially Mom.

Not my cup of tea, but then if everybody was the same then the world would be a pretty boring place i suppose  :), what i do like about them is the number and selection of characters, including Slurms, Morbo and Lrrr, all figures that most people have been praying for Toynami to make for ages! Besides that i prefer the realistic scale figures with plenty accs to the caricature figs.

i once again agree with you that toynami line is first choice . i prefer the kidrobot's over the i-men.

Yeah the i-men were'nt the best. Can anyone make out the other shadow figure bottom row one in, the one on the end is Slurms by the look of it? Is the other one Hermes??

I think they look nice. I like the mix of main characters and the more memorable secondary characters. I also like the overdone cartoon style. Most Futurama stuff is made to look like the show. These are a little different which I think is nice. I'll order some when they come out.

Sal, Q.T. McWhiskers, a tub of popplers...who can resist? Too expensive right now though.

Hopefully Toynami's watching, as on this lineup they still haven't done Morbo and Lrrr, which are a must! I'd take a Slurms too. Not sure about Q.T. McWhiskers, he's alright, but I think I'd rather have Scruffy the janitor first.

Hmmmm, wonder what scale the accessories are, ie the popplers, and mcwhiskers, they could go nicely with my Toynami diorama if they aint too big  :flirt: Then i could sell the figures on a certain internet auction site!!  :laff:

I'll definitely be picking up that tiny Robot Devil.  And maybe Bender, if he looks as appealing.

The robots and aliens look all right (I bet Zoidberg's going to look adorable in this style), but the humans just seem more... freaky.  That thumbnail preview image of Fry scares me a little.

Edit: Wait, "blind boxed?"  I want to see what I'm buying, damn it!

I saw some where that it's around $8.95... covert it to my currency and I'll ended up paying over 40 bucks...

I think it's the same logic behind selling wrapped packs of game cards: you'll end up buying more packs than you would if you knew what you're getting because you'll no doubt end up with repeats if you buy them blindly; hence more sales as people struggle to collect the entire set.

Incidentally, I found Bender.  I think I'll pass.

Hmmm, ya I can see that for trading cards as the packs are cheap (or at least used to be), the sets are large and the idea is to trade cards with others to get the ones you're missing. But in this case, the set's only 12 items. So unlike a pack of cards where each one you buy you're liable to get some you need, each purchase of one of these toys could just net you another duplicate and a hot cup of SFA - sounds like toy shopping hell to me.

Yeah, it looks like they did the same thing with a Simpsons Series a while back. Sounds like it could get pretty frustrating not to mention expensive. Jabalong, it looks like Morbo comes with a tube of "Dr. FlimFlam's Vein Cream". Was that actually in the show?

Yeah surprisingly lifelike???
I go to e-bay all the time and the Robot Devil is the short-print, if you can use collecting card terminology.I think that it's 1 in 36 packs. The seller wants 60 bucks, but in this economy, well.

They might not look too bad next to my BSG Minimates, but they seem rather overpriced and I hate blind boxing.

Nice accessories with Leela, Fry and Nibbler though (sunglasses, Panucci pizza box, and food bowl).

Oh and by the way If I had one free kill guess who it would be, I'm very tempted to actually make the kill and do the time

When will they come out with the Crushinator kid robot. If they are going to call them kidrobots, there should be at least a few robots in the group.
The perennial favorite Hedonismbot should be there too.

My buddies wife got him a case of these things and he gave me the doubles he had.  I didn't even know they were out until he told me about them.  They're pretty cool looking, but they aren't worth $9 a pop.  The price combined with the blind boxing would make these a no buy if I had to get them myself.  Cool toy, crappy sales model.
