Don't you think someone should make a new futurama video game? What kind of game should it be? Lego Futurama?

They can't make a Lego Futurama game unless they sell Lego Futurama products. Some guy made a custom Lego Planet Express HQ, Planet Express ship and minifigures, but they aren't for sale. A new Futurama game would be cool, though. Maybe one with more playable characters, a few minigames and more extra's. Maybe a game based on the 4 movies???

There should be a new Futurama video game.  One where the Omicrons are the villains.  The the Professor sends the PE Crew to Mars, where the Omicrons have invaded.  Like the first game, you can play as each character, even Hermes and Amy, in the levels as the game progresses.  It could be like a Magnificent Seven-like adventure.   Fry has a lasso, Bender has a bazooka, Leela has nunchucks, Hermes has an adding machine, Amy has a hammer, and Zoidberg has a frisbee.

It could be called, "Futurama: Wild Bender West".

I've been hoping for a sandbox GTA-style Futurama game where you can go anywhere and do anything in New New York, including flying the PE Ship and other vehicles, etc etc. It'd be awesome.

Grand Theft Spaceship.

Personally, I think you could change any TV show into a GTA game. You could change any non-gta game into a gta game.

That sounds like the most fun.  Simpsons did a good job with theirs.

They did - that was a stupidly fun game.

Grand Theft TETRIS!!

Yes but it's just a mod. It only changes textures and such. A real game would contain a story and voices from Futurama.

I would love a Futurama game like Simpsons Hit and Run. That was great.

The problem with games now is that most formats get mostly the same junk churned out for it:

Xbox 360: Generic brown first-person shooters, racing games, errrrrr........
PS3: Generic brown first-person shooters, racing games, errrrrrrr.......
Wii: Party games, crappy mini-game collections, errrrrrrrrr......
PSP: See Xbox 360 or PS3
DS: Braining traing type games, RPGs, platformers, errrrrr.......

The problem is that (particularly for the 360 and PS3) games now are so expensive to make that companies aren't willing to take the risk. Look at Okami on PS2 and Wii by Capcom, a great game but sold poorly. Even Super Mario Galaxy on Wii hasn't sold as well as it perhaps should of done. Also with the current economic climate almost all the companies aren't willing to take even small risks even with a liscenced game.

Perhaps I've just got fed up of gaming (and hey I own a PS2, PS3, Wii, DS and PSP) and that games are no longer interesting me but whatever.

If a Futurama game was made I would hope it was developed by any of the folowing:

Treasure (almost everything they touch turns to gold just look at their Astro Boy game comapred to Sonic Team's one a few years back and also two words RADIENT SILVERGUN)
WayForward Technologies
Bizarre Creations
Q? Entertainment
Dimps (hey they even managed to make some recent Sonic games seem good with the two Rush games and they also worked on Street Fighter 4)
Bioware
Telltale Games (they could make a point and click Futurama adventure! It would ceratinly be a good way of including lots of great dialogue between the characters)
Possibly Konami

Companies that I would NOT want to make a Futurama game:

Sonic Team
Any developer that makes only brown generic FPS games
Sony's internal studios
Microsoft's internal studios (and that includes Rare as they aren't a patch on the greatness they once were)
Nintendo (although I'm a bit undecided on this)
EA (even though they have got better of late)
Sonic Team
Activision (including all the studios closely associated with them)
Midway (although they look dead and buried now anyway)
Bungie (see also any developer that makes only brown FPS games)
Hudson
Sunsoft (I even hated their Clock Tower games)
Rockstar Games (actually any part of Take 2 Games including 2K games)
Did I mention Sonic Team?

Although my taste in games seems a bit strange at the moment perhaps a second wind will come when perhaps some more good games start to emerge in this generation of consoles (and no I'm not an avid PC gamer).

Possibly Konami

Metal Gear LEELA
Zone of the Benders
Pro Evolution Blernsball
Limbo Limbo Revolution
Frylent Hill...?

What if Square-Enix made a Futurama RPG. Like a hilarious cell-shaded interplanetary incarnation of Final Fantasy. Think about the kind of limit-break attacks Zoidberg might use.

Hey coldangel like the picture also does anyone know if SCi games owns the publishing rights for future Futurama games? I ask this because SCi and Eidos are one and the same company and SCi has just been bought by........ Square-Enix!
