For people in the UK to know, today I picked up my latest issue of Futurama Comics to find it at £2.60, and it now comes out every 2 months... but the good thing is it now has a decent amount of pages:52, and that the comic isn't spread out over two issues. How do you feel about that then?

They probably changed it because there's only two or so stories to go until they've caught up to the US editions, and by then they'd have no choice but to go bimonthly like the US ones (and they probably switched back to bimonthly at this time so they will still be on schedule even if the US release dates are postponed for some reason).

Oh, I thought the US ones were monthly. I get it, now they're gonna be the same. Thanks for telling me, ivan fry.

To me it sound like you guys get a better deal. We only get 32 pages, while you get twenty more, and you laso get a more stretched-out story, while we get something short. Yup. Your bi-monthy comic sounds better than the US edition.

How do they get a "stretched out" story? They get the exact same stories as the US edition, just with more ads and a longer letters page...

Yeah, about 13 of the new pages are just adverts!

I wish a new issue came out every fortnight.

Well, that's pointless then. Adding more ads....they'd better be related to Bongo comics. *shakes fist*

Wow, really...I find that to be such a stupid statement. Absolutely no offense to you, but if they came out every fortnight the quality would become awful. The writers would practically have to rush out scripts, to be hastily drawn. Basically, it would cause the comic to absolutely suck. And the art is already bad enough when it's bimonthly...

They haven't caught up fully. As I understand the latest UK issue is "Let's Twist Again" (US #28), I guess they're swapping back to bimonthly early so if some issues come out late in the US the UK schedule won't suffer.
