mm.. I should buy Leela, Zapp, Bender and Kif, but the shipping is expensive to get them over here...

Is there somebody traveling to Ecuador on this days? :laff:

My brother is moving to Paraguay for a year. I doubt I'd be able to convince him to take a detour, though...

The hell do you mean fry was discontinued!

Son of a... wanted to get Leela / Amy / Fry when Amy comes out... didn't realize Fry is now mind numbingly expensive.

Ya it sucks, if you want it you have to fork up the money. I did, Im happy with my decision. You better buy them now, before they get really expensive. Zoidberg is also expensive.

How do you know Fry (and zoidberg?) were dis-continued?

edit- HOLY CRAP! WOW, the Fry figure costs over 100 dollars on amazon. Luckily I bought the Fry and Zoidberg set for only 35 dollars last year.

I don't know what to do? When will the others be dis-continued. Should I buy them now or take the risk of putting it off?

Ya I know, I bought them on ebay brand new. There around, its just people can charge a lot for them, due to the fact they are dis-continued. As time goes on and more of the toynami toys are discontinued the price will go up. Right now they  range around 70 to 100 dollars(USA).

I got the last piece of my robot devil today, its awsome, but it was a pain in the ass to put together, the torso holes are small and you have to jam those big sticks in it. No dirty jokes after this.

I didn't spit, I applied a lot of pressure, and probably nearly broke it, but I eventually got it in. I hope robot santa won't be that hard to put together.

I didn't actually spit in it, I was trying to make a sex joke :(

But the holes were to small... I took a knife and stuck it in and turned it so it would carve it a bigger hole.

Well I did, and I'm proud of it! Besides, carving them up with a knife would have made the leg joints even more loose than they already are.

There's probably a better place to post this but, since I never come into this board, I dunno where it is.  Comedy Central has put up a futurama merchandise page.  There's some stuff there that I dont think I've seen around before.

I had to buy the 4 figures form the first wave with shipping to Ecuador... is gonna cost me $100 and I'll have to wait 2-3 weeks, but if I don't get those figures now, then I'll never gonna get them.

The second wave is gonna be kinda difficult to get for me, unless I find someone that returns to my country from the USA.

Do any of you got the golden bender, thier pretty awsome, you can still find them but they are going like hot cakes, there are only 1000 of them world wide, you can find 1 or 2 on ebay, but thier not cheap. The paradox zoidberg is also available. There is also the mating season Zoidberg. There are only 2500 of each of these world wide. Rare, you better get them while you can. They are not too expensive yet.

And here is a funny pick:

Check it out. First pic of Amy figure showed up on interweb (Big Bad Toy Store). Still says arriving in January?! What's the deal with her gun/tool? They're getting a little skimpy on the accessories lately.

AMY: Hey, I am so not plastic!

... oh hell, wait a moment, can she actually move any part of her apart form her head? Dammit, Toynami, they're called action figures for a reason.

Amy looks pretty good, but not a whole lot of motion there...

Now we need a 1/12th scale planet express ship!

Amy is sweet as sugar.

With the last wave of series 2 upon us, can't wait to see what the next six figures and hopefully build-a-bot will be.

Just examining my calculon again and I realised something. They could have articulated him without causing any problems for the look at all! They really missed an opportunity there, and now I can't have him on his knees shouting NOOOOOOOOOO!! at the top of his voice...

I don't get why they aren't putting in the articulation. Is it the cost?

Cool find! Can't wait to add these to my collection.

Her gun/tool thingy is taken from this promotional drawing.
Not sure just what it's supposed to be though.  :hmpf:

I think this picture shows an early prototype of Amy. First they sculpt the figure and later add the articulation. There should at least be moving arms by the time she comes out.

Nice to get Amy but I hope Toynami adds Lrrr back into the line-up for 2009!  :D

The tool looks like some sort of hand held rotary cutting tool, like a 30th century dremel/rotozip saw.
