Yes, new expressions please! I totally want the extended eyes (anyone got a screenshot/pic - can never find one). I'd also like this one of Flexo in evil contentment - eyes completely closed with two roundish slits: Another idea is the eyes just open a little bit so you can see the pupils just ever so slightly: And this one of him doing a Doctor Evil type of sly look - like the Chef Bender narrow eye, but pupils on the bottom instead of the top: And one last one I found is this sideways woggly eyes - but maybe only works if Bender has the opposite set so they can face off: As a reminder, here are the eyes we have so far. From original Bender (and repeated with Wooden Bender *sigh*) From Chef Bender(Mental note: I need to line me up the six unique eyes to date and take a single pic of them.)

They look fantastic! Flexo is a major cop-out though, but I guess Otto has been rather busy, so fair enough. Love the Robot Mafia - brilliant!! We still need an Elzar to go with Chef Bender, a Linda to go with Morbo, Master Fnog to go with Destructor, Smitty to go with URL, the rest of the alternate Universe charcters (Amy, Farnsworth and Hermes), Scruffy, Gender Bender (also to go with Destructor) and Angleyne (to go with Flexo). Tinny Tim would be great to go with the Mafia as well. Mom's sons would be cool as well, plus the other two main Robots from "All My Circuits" (Boxy Robot and Monique). Also Dwight and Cubert (plus LaBarbara as well?) Plus Sal and Slurms... Plenty of life left in this series!!!

I read on another site that Morbo will retail for $20 and Lrrr may cost as much as $30 due to size! If that is true, I wonder what Destructor will cost????
I hope they cost less than that or come out around the same time and they have a deal if you buy both. Although Destructor will be out much later so it probably won't have any multi-buy deals.

Hmmm, from Jeff Saylor's Figures.com Toynami Toy Fair 2011 coverage page: Toynami had a pleasant surprise for Futurama fans at their Toy Fair booth this year. Starting this May, collectors will be treated to an all-new series that introduces characters of the Robot Mafia. Futurama Series 10 will feature Clamps and Joey Mousepod, while Futurama Series 11, slated for September, will include Flexo and The Don Bot. Each of these assortments will carry an SRP of $13.99 per figure. The bonus Build-A-Bot incentive has been removed from these waves to allow more freedom for fans to pick and choose which characters they want, but collectors of the larger Futurama figures have not been forgotten. Toynami had on display deluxe Futurama figures of Morbo and Lrrr, both scheduled for release this Spring. Pricing has not been set in stone, but expect to pay around $20 for Morbo and around $30 for Lrrr due to his larger, in-scale size. A hulking figure of Destructor was also shown, though concrete details on his potential release have not yet been decided. (Click the link above for more on the other products, including a video of Talking Bender.)

Karl, nice comprehensive list of complimentary characters to existing figures. I'd add Kwanzaabot and Chanukah Zombie to go with Robot Santa (with some of Santa's elves as accessories?). If you’re doing families, then I suppose there’s Leela’s parents too. Wernstrom to go with Farnsworth. The cool referee to go with Destructor, Master Fnog and Gender Bender. I’d be down for many of these figures if the line has long legs. Prioritizing them, Scruffy’s a must-have. Chef Bender cries out for Elzar. And let’s finish the alternate universe set – one SDCC box set would do it. Beyond that for these sort of complimentary ones, I don’t know, Wernstrom seems like a key character, while I just like Kwanzaabot. (Slurms is high on my list, but he’s not really a complimentary character that any current figures are lonesome without – just a good standalone one IMO.)

Seems strange that it would be a region-issue, as I can play it in Asia and jhvz can in the Netherlands. But who knows. You could try this direct link to the video, which I found in the source code of the page: http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:624740It plays for me in full-screen, but don't know if it will get around your problem. Otherwise, if someone can capture the stream and reupload it in YouTube say, that would be a workaround, but I'm not set up for stream capturing at the moment. If you don't get to see the video, note that he doesn't really give any new info or insight, just basically showing off the goods. One tidbit is that in showing the past boxed figures, he mentions that Toynami used to do build-a-figures for this line but stopped. It definitely seemed like it's in the past, so Destructor is not a BAF, but must be a "deluxe" figure.

That's a fun video, but for those who can't see it, nothing new is learned. It's kind of weird that he talks about the build-a-bots and then says we stopped that with series 9. This short, quick little- "We did this, now we don't." If I were in his position I would have said something positive about switching to deluxe figures instead of build-a-bots, like it gives them the ability to make bigger characters, more detailed figures or something like that. He may have had more to his answer in the actual interview, but when I watched it I felt that was tacked on to the end strangely. Although, if you're not familiar with the figures, it's not a bad note to be made aware of. He did a fine job!

just found this on Entertainment Earth: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TN2190CFuturama Bender Action Figure: Coming in July 2011 * The Robot with an attitude- Bender! * Fan-favorite of Futurama re-issued, but with more expressions! * The robot with exquisite charm! Take home this 6-inch tall Bender action figure as he comes to you with even more facial expressions that no other robot can have! The action figure features a couple different heads to pop on, depending on your and Bender's mood. so original Bender will have been released 3x, but no reissue of Zoidberg yet. :/

Owwkay... Didn't expect that. Another Bender, huh? Sure. I've only got 5 of them. Why not? But I'll still get him if the new accesoires are cool enough.

Wow! Bender is a cash cow. I say keep em coming if it helps Toynami continue the line.
I wonder if a re-release of Zoidberg would sell that great if it had no devil piece? I think it would and highly recommend Toynami to issue him.

That would SUCK for collectors. Suddenly their old pieces are worth nothing. I'd be annoyed. Releasing without the build-a-bot pieces is most fair.
I see your point, yes. But I don't collect to sell later, so the thought that some Futurama fans may never get a Robot Devil figure unless they spend HUNDREDS of dollars, isn't fun to me. I think it's cool that Toynami has reissued a couple figures already, because I've been collecting a long time and that isn't often the case. The original figures wouldn't be worthless, the originals would still be hunted for by some and the copyright on the back of the figure would be different. Again, though, I understand what you're saying. These figures are so cool looking, I just want anyone who wants them to be able to get them at a reasonable price.

Of *course* this happens just after I pick one up.
Haha, I just picked up one too! Life is ironic sometimes. Here's hoping they re-release Zoidberg already! So I'm new to the forums; I just completed the entire PE crew --still holding out for Scruffy!-- and I want to put them into a display case. I was wondering if someone might point me in the right direction for loose figure stands and a nice acrylic case to fit seven or eight figures. Thanks!

Hmmm, a Bender re-issue with a couple of heads and eye expressions? I'm not sure what to make of this. On one hand, it's good that Toynami is reissuing Bender as there seems to be demand (what about Zoidberg though?!). And giving him a new twist with different expressions is good I guess, but do those of us who already have Bender really want to fork out for another plain Bender? What really bugs me about this is that with Flexo announced, that would mean Toynami is essentially trying to get us to buy two more "plain" Benders - one with a goatee (ie, Flexo) and one with new expressions. Why not just produce a new Bender - with a new expression head and a Flexo head? Then people can decide which figure they want it to be. With no more BAF, and even though I have every figure made to date, I don't plan to buy this reissue and am really on the fence about Flexo. The only way I think I'd consider the Bender reissue is if one of the heads is chomping on a cigar, as that's what's really missing for me with Bender. But if it was a Bender/Flexo combo figure, it'd be more palatable for me.
