The first are mostly out, we're just waiting for Kif and Bender.

And, lord help me, I already have Nudar and Captain yesterday on pre-order. I can't even afford it.

I only have the Fry and Leela figures and am looking for Zapp. I can't wait for Captain Yesterday.
Weird question - The Leela figure is awesome...but am I the only one who thinks her feet are too small? The more I look at them, the smaller they  seem.

I think you're right. I don't have Leela (yet) but in Archonix' pic her boots look kinda small in comparison to Zapp's. Zapp should have bigger boots of course but Leela's just look tiny and uncomfortable.

Pardon me for double posting. Toynami has updated it's website on the third series of Futurama action figures.

The newest FUTURAMA action figures are here! Starring in Series 3 are DOOP officer and Zapp Brannigan flunky Kiff Kroker, and everyone's favorite thieving alcoholic bending unit,   Bender B. Rodriguez! Look fro them in stores soon!

Has anybody seen these yet?

I just got the Kiff and Bender toys today.  I forgot I ordered them until the box showed up today via UPS.  They're pretty neat, especially Bender.  He comes with 2 extra sets of eyes with different expressions so you can change them.  It also looks like his head may come off (don't know for certain since I haven't opened them yet).  I wonder if you can put Nixon's head on Bender's body?

I'm looking forward to the Calculon and Lrrr figures that are coming.  I do wish Toynami would have finished rounding out the PE crew before starting with the repaints of Fry, etc.

I just had a look at Nixon, he's got a little nub on the bottom that I was very curious about the first time I saw it. The shape of the underside of his jar is also bowed inward. Looks like you can put his head on Bender's body.

You know, I'm happy we're getting new Futurama figures, really I am. But I can't help but question the selections they've made for the toyline. I mean, come on, who would really want a Nudar over a Hermes or Amy? And why do we need another version of Fry, Leela, and Bender already? Wouldn't make more sense to round out the rest of the Main Cast before Calculon? I don't understand some toy company's decisions at times.

I agree.  I'm like seeing Calculon and Lrrr, but the Nudar choice is a strange one, especially when there are so many other side characters to choose (That Guy!).  I do hope they get to the rest of the PE crew soon though.  Sometimes these toy lines don't last long.  I would hate to see it shut down before the PE crew was rounded out.

Another version of Leela, Fry, and Bender so soon is disappointing, but this is not unique to the Futurama line.  This is action figure sales 101.  It allows them to get three new figures with only slight alterations to already existing molds which saves Toynami money.  I would rather see three new figures instead, but this is how it works.  I'm glad they are making figures at all.

That's, true, of course...remolds have been around as long as action figures themselves have been. Nudar does seem to be a strange choice, but when you consider the recent impact of Bender's Big Score, it seems more logical. And it's not that I have anything against Calculon or Lrrr-and in fact I plan on picking up both- but I really want this line to last long enough to get a Professor, Hermes, and Amy. I'm also hoping they'll pack Nibbler in with Clobberella, since they missed out on that opportunity with the first Leela figure.

I picked up a couple of the original MAC figures to get hold of that nibbler that came with Leela. It'd be nice if they did include him in future, though.

This is the first figure line I've ever actually collected...

I thought the second series had some strange character choices as well. I just hope we'll get a third series with the Professor, Amy and Hermes and then some robots and aliens to make it a series of 6 figures again. I think Roberto would be great as a build-a-bot figure.

Also I wonder if Toynami will have another Comic Con exclussive this year. It'd be nice if the made a Flexo out of their recent Bender figure.  :)

Well, according with some info I got in my email, the Lrrr figure from the 2nd Toynami series could be replaced with Amy...  but I've only found that the items have changed at 2 sites: Entertainment Earth (Clobberella Leela + Amy) and Big Bad Toy Store (Super King Bender + Amy). I've not found any Toynami news or news from other website.. but it would be great to know if this is true or not.

A two-pack of Santa and Bender has been announced to be sold exclussively at San Diego Comic Con.

I like them. But 50 bucks? Ouch...

Fifty bucks? They better be made out of gold! I can buy two separate figures for less. I was too cheap to even buy just a Kif figure today, so why would I get the two pack?

You're right Javier. The only difference is that Santa's eyes are upside down like how they were in his first appearance in "X-mas Story" giving him a happy face. Bender is just the same figure with some new paint and a cloth X-mas hat.

There really isn't that much "exclusive" about this set. For $50 these better come with a sleigh or something.

Well, the eyes can rotate (like Bender's eyes can be changed in the normal version of Toynami).. and yes, if there's not extra stuff (like Santa's sleigh or Santa's reindeers or a pair of Neptunians 'elves'), those are expensive but not so impressive exclusive figures.

I picked up the two pack and they are awesome!!  The price is a bit steep and I am not sure how I will feel once the second wave hits the shelves and I get another Robot Santa but I can sure use those other figures - variants or not.
Series 4 is coming and it will be Cap Yesterday and Nudar as everyone has been saying.  Toynami had figures of the entire New Justice Team together and they look outstanding!!  No Amy prototype though.  It was the only figure not on display that has not already been released or announced for release.

No, the two-pack did not come with any accessories except for the alternate eyes which are included with the original Bender.
Now that I think about it - it does not really make sense to give Leela a couple of blasters when she never really uses one on the show and not give Robut Santa one when that is his staple accessory.

Anyone got advice on how to get the figures in the UK? I cant find either wave 1 figure anywhere and it seems Bender is pretty rare too, it seems that the "limited edition" mating zoidberg is easier to find than the normal figures :(
