Season 1-4 Box Set

Hi all. I'm a newbie here on the peelified forums. A huge Futurama fan myself. I watched the pilot episode and got hooked ever since. I missed out on the later seasons.

Anyway, that has been solved, as I ordered all four DVDs off Amazon.     My package has yet to arrive, though. 

I'd like to ask about the Futurama Season 1-4 Box Set. Is there anything like extra material on the DVD's in them? Or are they simply a collection of Seasons 1-4 in one box, with no exclusive extras or something of that sort?

I'm just curious to know. Thanks...

I actually had the chance to buy it from a local auction site here (Dubai), but someone outbid me in the last minute.

for most episodes, there are a few deleted scenes, sketchings, audio commentary, that sort of thing


there are also a few 'easter eggs' one of which is the first reading of the final episode, on the final DVD. There are others, but that's the only one I know of.

Well, if amazon.com showed you a picture of the set, that's usually what you get. The boxed set of seasons one-four, if it's legal will have tons of bonus material for hours of enjoyment! Listen to the commentary, you must.

i saw the box set....i drooled for it....seriouly...it was right there...in front of me...seriously....but my money was short...my t-shirt was backwards...and my shoes contained a wart.

I have all 4 seasons. but I got them seperately. I would assume they have the same extras that they do in the box set. I've watched all the episodes and watched them all again, but with the commentary.

I have all 4 individual seasons and my brother has the box set, they are both exactly the same content-wise. The only difference is the big outer box itself...

Plus, there are those things (please forgive my ignorance)on Season 2, where when you go to actually play the episode, if you press a different direction on some of them then you get like a 'photo album' of some of the writers/directors whathaveyou..

Ive only just bought the 2nd Season, so now I have all of them but S4, which I hope to buy soon...then again, Ive seen most of S4 on Sky Three, so I dont feel like Ive been missing out too much, I guess..

I had all four seasons before they came in the better compact boxed sets they come in now. I'm not totally sure what extras the 1-4 set has, but if it's the same as the other seasons you are in for a treat.
