Man, I am surprisingly amazed by the comics lately. In a good way. They are really good, and there have been less huge gaps in time. Now if only they would keep printing them this often everything would be good.

I'm pretty sure the comics will keep going for a long time.  Even if they do come bi-monthly.

I like it when Fry and Leela get captured and Fry screams, "Ahh! It's got us!" and Leela replies "Duh!"  :laff:

like the bit where Zapp says, "Thats Leela's codeword for Booty Call!". And then Kif Shudders. Funny! I could just imagine seeing this issue as an actual episode.

This was a great improvement to the not so impresive #20.

Finally got mine today and just finished reading it. It was a great issue, I especially liked the line where the alien says
It had a nice amount of shippiness as well which is always good, and Zapp and Scruffy bonding; hooray! Did they ever actually meet in the show?

M Jackson was talking about Delany's poor art, and while most of the artwork was good, I could see what he was talking about, just based on a few Fry faces... namely this one:

Anywho, I'd give it an A.

Hey GreyThinkyWhale

I agree the Swissarmians were a very fun design. I thought Delaney did a great job designing characters that we've never seen before but could easily see in an episode. Very original but very Groening as well.
It's funny but when I saw the front on shot of Fry I thought it was unusual because we so rarely see Fry from front on but I really liked that Delaney used it instead of yet again another shot of him in 3/4 especially in keeping with the dialogue he's saying in that panel.
I must draw attention to one of the best looking pages I've seen in a Futurama Comic and that is page 18. The drawing, inking, and coloring (night time colors) are absolutely exceptional! Great shippiness, great character interaction and acting. It reminded me a bit of Watchmen the way panel one panel 4,5 & 6 all use the same set up but move in closer and closer to achieve the build up which pays off on page 19 panel one. Great stuff!!

They've done front views of Fry before, and they've looked better than that. (The fact that I can't find a grab is irrelevant  :p)

Oh for sure. I wasn't saying there hadn't been front on shots before I just meant that I thought it was a good choice for that dialogue bit. Agreed, not the best Fry front on, but it made me laugh with the gag.

When John draws the characters with certian expressions they look off, end of story. He is improving, but he has a ways to go before he has the style 100% down yet. No I'm not an artist, but I still have every right to compare Delney's art to that of the show and the rest of the artists who work on the comic.

Good issue, Eric Rogers can still crank out a decent story. Bothby's a still my favourite(Issue 16 has been my favourite), but Rogers wouldn't be too far behind. Nice to see Zapp having a larger role again.

I bought it and read it. Of this one, the Time Bender one I bought, and the Crossover I bought, this was the best. It may've been the fact those others were the last in their series, but oh well. Loved the story, nice to see some classic Bender with him hurting Fry, and great to see Zapp and Scruffy in bigger roles. I thought the joke poking fun at Amy's and Hermes's little screen/panel time was great.

I give it an...
A-

Can't wait for the next issue and the new books.
