I know it may a bit pointless topic.. but... oh, well..

I live in Mexico, and I was surprised to see on the shelves the first season of Futurama, with at least the package translated to Spanish. I thought it would never be possible.
I already have the entire series in Region 1; I had to travel to USA several times to finally make it.
Now, I see no point in buying it, but comparing the 1 & 4 region packages, the 4's have thicker DVD cases, and have pics of the characters in the lateral side.

I think this may be possible because FOX has been recently airing an animated block "for adults" in the Monday's and Tuesday's, where Futurama, the Simpsons, Family guy and Father of the Pride are included.

I'm just saying it if anyone cares.

Any new commentaries? (Unlikely I think.)

What has gone on here is that Australia and Mexico are both Region 4, but Australia has the regular style dvd cases for the DVD seasons used in Europe and Mexico has the thinner, American versions.

I'd like to have the funky thin sets, but the thicker ones do look more impressive...
