check out this page on EBAY.CO.UK, this guy daid that futurama comics were made before the TV series
 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=64756&item=2293329036&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
here what he said
Quote
This comic is a rare Futurama comic that was released before the making of the TV Series. A Really good find from America.

Issue #6

This is a real must for anyone interested in rare comics!

this to me doesn't make sense because the comic was released around 24.10.2001
where as the first episode was aired on the
28.3.1999
This guy is clearly wrong and he doesn't have the right to sell futurama comics if he hasn't even checked the date of when they were released
and to add to that he calls this rare but it isn't at all, ever heard of Futurama adventures although this can be excused, because maybe he means that the single edition of the comic is rare but it isn't either because i have seen it for sale online in other places
[off topic] but then you say but how can o trust EBAY now with all those thing i keep on hearing in computer magazines so then you sudennly think that if EBAY is missused then the whole web is missused tthen you have a heart attack and then you die

So he's hyping his sale object a bit, in order to get a good price. Who cares? It's been done since the dawn of advertisement.

If a Futurama fan buys the comic, he/she will know the comic is made after the show.

If a non-Futurama fan buys it (why would they?), he/she couldn't care less.

Since when do you have to have a license to sell property you own? Certainly not in a market economy. If he own the comic, he has every right in the world to sell it, using whatever sales trick he can.

But if it really bother you that much, you can write eBay about it.

The seller is wrong, but he probably knows it already. It's just making things sound better to sell them, marketing...
