Yes, Amazon already lists it. Futurama will have been off the air for about two years by the time this comes out.

Well, at least I know this exists now.  I was in one of those specialty calendar stores (you know the ones; they always open up just around X-Mas time)I looked for a Futurama calendar but they didn't have one so I wasn't even sure if they were going to make a 2006 one.  Now I know, thanks!  :D

Best Futurama news I've heard for a long time. By the time I get the next 2 calanders, and Futurama Adventures, that's 3 more piece of Futurama literature that I'll be able to get!

The hyper-optimist would say this is a sign that FOX want to continue the show in the future and have asked Matt to keep making stuff like this to keep the fans interested.

This is quite incredible! Not so much that there will be another Calendar (although that's awesome), but the fact they've listed it so early! Congratulations to everyone who bought the 2005 Calendar and helped to secure good enough sales for this baby to hit us next year!   ...

Where abouts are you guys finding this?  I checked (yet another) calendar store and they had nothing.  I suppose Ebay or Amazon would have something...I should go and check.

They don't sell as many as the Simpsons calendars but they're out there. I just finished writing the 2006 calendar three months and that's cool that's it up for pre-sale.

Is there just a full size calendar on the market or can you can one of those mini-calendar ones as well?  Although at this point I'd be happy to get whatever size I can get, as long as it's got Futurama on it!)  :laff:

I wouldn't mind betting that the reason the Futurama Calendars don't appear to be around in the shops much, is because the majority of there sales are online sales...

I'm more hoping that another comic compilation will be released, or perhaps two or three more, to get all the other comics distributed more easily.

There's a Futurama/Simpsons Trade Paperback compilation in the works (although it won't be out for a while after the Crossover Crisis Comics part II are out). And I also hope more compilations of the Futurama Comics are released. Hopefully one day they'll all be released in Trade Paperback form. As long as they sell, I'm sure they will eventually...

Excellent. I'll have to pre-order this one as early as I can; I nearly missed my chance to get the 2005 calendar. It's amazing how quickly they go.

Fox has no bearing on Futurama published works, as Matt Groening / Bongo Comics kept the publishing rights.

Still, would be nice if Fox were behind getting Bongo to keep making the calendars. Either way, looking forward to hanging up my shiny new 2005 calendar tomorrow!

I just hung up my 2005 calender yesterday.  I like that a lot of the pictures are based off of themes from the episodes in this calender.  January starts off good with a bunch of parallel universe Frys.  The robot barber seems to be the same in each universe though, hmmmm.  I'm happy there will be a 2006 edition.

You know what would be great? One of those box calendars. You know, the ones that have a new picture for each day? That would be 365 new Futurama pics! *fangasm*

I got a Harry Potter one a few years ago. Utterly useless, I tell you.

Plus, you'd probably have to rip off yesterday's page each day. Think how sad that would be!

just because you have to rip the page off doesn't mean you have to throw the page away. I'd cut the date off and stick the picture on my wall.

365 days of Futurama art would be almost orgasmic.  On the practical side, I'd probably be like VCH and forget to turn the pages after awhile.
