I, unfortunately, do not own an X-Box, nor a PS2, mainly because the majority of the time, I like to play games on the PC.  I know that a great deal of time after it was released for various consoles, that Simpsons : Hit and Run was released, a game also by Vivendi.  I'm just curious if there is any confirmed information related to a release for the PC, or any information stating that it will never be released for the PC.  Because in that case, I'll probably be getting a PS2 in a few weeks.

Thanks in advance.

I seriously doubt it. The game wasn't a big seller and the company probably wouldn't think it'd be worth it to make a PC version.

I really, really hope it comes out on PC because I don't have a PS2 or anything either. But would it be easy to control on PC?

I think I'll end up saying "screw it", and probably end up buying a PS2 or an XBox.  Of course, knowing my luck, right after I buy one of them, another next-gen system will be released.

You could always find out when the next gen systems will be released...(2006 for PS3, fairly sure similar time for next Xbox)

The closest thing to a PC Futurama game right now is the fan-game currently being made by me and about 20 other guys with no life.

Here is the link to the forum dedicated to it: http://futuramagame.insanitysquared.dk/forum/

Don't buy a PS2 or Xbox purely for the Futurama game. It really isn't that good.

The next generation consoles these days seem to be backward compatible with old systems (Dreamcast played saturn games, PS2 plays PS1 games), and from what I've heard the next Xbox will play xbox games and the PS3 will be PS2 and PS1 compatible, so if you are really worried, wait til the next gen comes out and get it then

Are you fucking serious? I had no idea. I wish I had stocked up on Saturn (Nights: Into Dreams, Panzer Dargon Saga) games when I had the chance.

I say... wait till someone makes a decent next-gen emulator and thank the lord that your computer can handle such a thing.... (mine can't of course)....

I'm almost certain this isn't true. I never heard anything about the Dreamcast being backwards compatible....

Also, the current trend looks to be broken by the next Xbox console, which thus far is rumoured NOT to be backwards compatible. Also looks like it might not have a hard drive this time round.

I don't buy most new games for my video game systems lately...but just like Halo 2, if the Futurama game came out for PC I would definitely buy it.
