Bam!

EDIT: But- of course, my hate of one-word posts won't let me do this. I think that a Futurama TCG would indeed be cool. Nobody would play it with me, but I'd collect the cards, I would!

They could give them away with the comics, the UK issues alway have a free gift/poster, and they're running out of ideas.

i mean sort of stuff like

Name Fry
Age 25
Job Delivery boy

and so on

the good people of peel would buy it even if they were 30 years old. just so that companies (fox) would get the message that futurama lives long and kicks butt

Pfft, to hell with other people. I learnt many years ago you can play trading card games against yourself!

I don't support the idea of a trading card game. I used to own both Magic and Pokemon cards, and they end up collecting dust wherever they are. My Magic cards got thrown out when I was cleaning my room(they were scattered all over the floor) and my Pokemon cards were thrown out after I spilled juice on them. The magic wears off really fast, and I'm not willing to pay money for thin pieces of cardboard.

I for one have always been an advocate of having Futurama trading cards. Not necessarily a game but trading cards similar to the set Inkworks did for the Simpsons.  In fact, at one point they were almost a reality - or at least that is what I heard from a very reliable source.
There were some trading cards produced in Australia and were used as a promotional prize for a company that was pre-selling the DVD's. I don't know if they were official or not or perhaps part of the original test run of cards that were supposed to be produced. I believe there were 5 or 6 cards as part of that promotion.

There are some printable futurama episode cards with a framegrab and some dialogue at TLZ(FuturamaMadhouse). Scroll down and on the menu,it should say "futurama cards"Then select one of the few episodes they have there to see the cards.Print 'em. Then enjoy!
