I was suprised to hear what sounded like The Cures "A Japanese Dream" on the scene selection for this disc...has any Futurama/Cure fans made this comparison?

Ummm... actually, two things:
1: The scene selection for volume 3 is the same for all discs.
2: The music is from Futurama, although I don't know from what episode. I just know it was the same music from the main menu of Vol. 2, Disc 3.

Wasn't that the song from the pilot? When Fry makes his first steps through NNY..

edit: I'm checking it now - Yep it is

edit2: I've just heard the song by the Cure. I don't find many similarities though   :hmpf:

Isn't that the same bit of music that played at The Hip Joint in "Loves Labours Lost in Space"?  If so, I'd love a full version for the soundtrack, but I'm afraid it's a Tyng composition, and thus it's unlikely we'll be able to find it in its entirety, with no dialogue or sound effects with it.
