I'll say it once, I'll say it many more times, I'm too damn lazy. Besides, I just edit when I finished with everything and aren't working on a fic at the time.

...So you send sloppy unedited versions to TLZ, people read them and after they've been read by everybody you edit them which turns out to be pretty pointless since everyone who was planning on reading your fic would have already read it?

If even you think the second part of your fic sucked, aren't you worried you'll lose readers or be rated lowly? Why would you want to post something that sucks? Especially when people have the chance to rate it? I don't edit my fic because i'm not lazy. I'm very lazy. It's taken me almost 2 years to write a fic Layla could have completed in under 6 months. But i don't want to embarress myself when i release the thing so i edit.

Repeat. I can always have Teral mention that I've gone back and re-edited things. And what do you care you don't read my stuff.

I did actually read Stung, cause The Sting is my fav episode of the series so anything Sting related i'm obligated to read. But it still blows my mind that you half ass a fic and then complain when people rate you lowly or critisize you. Editing is a curtasy for your reader. Not editing shows you could give a damn about your reader but then you start begging for reviews. So it's confusing to me how you could not care about how your fic reads yet still care about what people think of it.

Did I say that it bothered me? Really did I? Cause I was asking so I could improve and make people like part 2 more. You don't want me to ask for reveiws fine. And excuse me for not having a perfect method of editing my stories. But late night is the only time I can work in solitude and be in the zone. I'll make sure to check part 3 out before sending. Anything else? Cause I think I took everything you said. Unless you want to make a comment about that.

When i said 'bothered' i was talking about the 'scream incident' when you freaked about low reviews. asking for reviews is fine as long as you're not being hypicritical about it ie: 'I'm too lazy to give a damn about how this fic reads but please give me a positive review anyway'. You are excused for not having a perfect method of editing, that wasn't the problem the problem is that you're admiting to not taking the time to edit period. So what if you work at night cause that's the only time you have solitude? Guess what? I'm in the same boat. 95% of my fic i've written between midnight and 6 am. My roommates don't even know i'm even writing a fic. But i still put in an honest effort to present something readable.

I know you think i'm ragging on you for no reason, but at least try to take my advise in context. I've given you honest advise, advise i would give anyone. Even you have agreed to some of the things i've told you and passed it on to other writers. I know you're 12 but jeeze grow up. I didn't even know we had a 'feud' until you made it obvious.

Yes, scream incident was stupid. I had a depression but I realize that there are bad things that happen in writing so therefore I apologize for acting like a baby.

Again I have tried to work on the editing thing, and I'm fed up with having no time to write.

Also, when you say "I know you think i'm ragging on you for no reason, but at least try to take my advise in context." That annoys me cause like everyone else, my english teacher, my mom, etc, apparently no one believes me when I say I'll try. That's mainly the obvious fued you were talking about.

And I don't appreaciate that you tell me to grow up when I plan to make changes with my writing habits. I know it seems like I'm being whiny again but that's because I haven't submited or had time to think about it.

I am full aware that I need to fix several things. It's a working process.

You never said you'd try. I wouldn't have commented further if you said you'd try. You said you didn't edit because you were lazy and that was that and you wouldn't edit until after everyone had already read the unedited version. And the point i was actually trying to make was that by the time you actually got around to editing everyone would have already read the fic and probably wouldn't take the time to reread it. If J.K Rowling released an unedited Harry Potter everyone would buy and read that. If 6 months later she released the edited version no one would bother spending money on it since they already read the unedited version and knew already what happened. And if the unedited version had mistakes and plot holes or whatever people would stop reading her work. Instead of being mega famous people would say she sucks. That was the whole point of my first post.

Ok I am seeing what you have said and it goes in my head. But somehow I can't make myself type it out. And did I have to say I'd try? I'm tired of arguing. I've taking in what you said but I can't say the right things back so I'll stop. I'm very cold and tired. I'm afraid to say anymore so I'm stopping.

And no I was too soar and tired to grab a blanket. So yes I am lazy. Forgive me. No offense but now you are really sounding like my mom. I can't ever get her to settle with me either. Thank you for the critizim and what not. Now I'm going to bed figuring that anyone can sound like my mom when they need to be. And I mean that in I screw up too much. So good night Venus, other peelers, and *insert something that would wrap this up*.

Yes, I am a baby. I've been trying to say I'm not but I am.

Kif White: What's going on with A Past with no Future? I havn't heard anything about it for a while. And is your friend still doing that fic based on Final Fantasy X? I loved the sample he posted.

Well, Chapter 5 has basically had *no* work done on it, since for some reason I haven't been in a writing mood lately. Or at least not fanfic, as I've been planning an original story lately instead.

As for that Futurama/Final Fantasy X fic, he's definitely got it on one hell of a hiatus at the moment. I'm doubting whether it'll ever see the light of day at this stage.

I hope to start to work on the next SpyOrama installment sometime in April (if not sooner than that maybe May).  I also had so much fun in doing the Kim Possible/SpyOrama crossover that I plan to do a sequel in a year from now.

I'll be writing my other fanfics "Cult 55" and "The Road to Fanizpar" sometime around the late spring.  I wanted to delay writing the fanfics because my mom is going to have surgery, soon.  I'm flying back to South Carolina to help her out.

In the meantime, I hope you all liked "Up the Down Potion".

I just got done writing 'Cult 55'.  It will be coming to Futurama Madhouse soon.  That page updates everyday, anyway.   So, watch for the my newest fanfic soon!

Everything is fine with my mom and her surgery, BTW.  Next time you go to Futurama Madhouse look for 'Cult 55'.  I'm open to any comments and criticisms.

I have been working diligently on the redux version of my first fanfic, originally titled "Curse of the One-Eyed Jacks".  I started from scratch, which left me with a shorter script.  It also let me fill in the major plotholes created by the last two seasons of the series with thick, black storytelling asphalt.  This also came with the benefit of not creating more plotholes while trying to patch others like a child trying to stretch retesh dough.

That being said, a few of the last scenes in the final act are not coming along well, and I'm not sure exactly how I'm going to end it.  Also, I'm changing the title to something less lame and more applicable.  All in all, it's 98% done but its release is indefinitely postponed.

Sounds like a cool story you're working on there, DrThunder.  Anyway, "The Road to Fanzipar" is coming very soon.  Plus, I have some other fanfic ideas I would like to share:

Forrest Dumps:  The Professor has a nervous breakdown.  So Fry, Leela, Bender, and Zoidberg plan on taking him to the planet RedWood 77 for R&R. Which they do, but unfortunately, it doesn't turn out that way.

Fry Gets Knocked Up a Notch:  Fry saves Zoidberg's life from choking via CPR.  Then later he finds out he's pregnant by Zoidberg!  Leela vowes to stay by Fry's side as Fry decides he wants to have the baby, but Bender is against Fry's situation as well as his decision.

Hey, we've all seen Bender and Kiff pregnant.  Let me know what you think of these ideas.

The Fry one would just be a rehash of KGKUaN. Even the name is the same. Fry couldn't get pregnant anyway since his physiology is human.

The one where Fry gets pregnant is going to be way different than KGKUAN.  It's going to be like in those movies 'Rabbit Test' with Billy Crystal and 'Junior'.  In fact the title will be, "Fry Gets Knocked Up A Lot".

I'm almost leaning toward this idea, though.  However, The Road to Fanzipar will come first.

Do you even know what the story is about?  I'm glad you're interested, Kurt, but I don't think I ever explained it.  Besides, it turns out it's as big a failure now as it was four years ago.

I'm in quasi-agreement with Venus about the Fry pregnancy-thing.  If you made the theme of the story different than that of KGKUAN, you might be okay.  It's hard to determine where you were going to take the story from the blurb you have.  If, for example, you write a story about Fry wanting to keep the kid/squid/whatever (despite his near-total lack of responsibility and higher cognitive faculties) while the rest of the crew wants to see the Small Fry placed in a foster home or some other, more appropriate child-rearing setting, you'd have quite a story.  Of course, you'd have to comedy* it up pretty well to keep it from being a taut, legal drama.  There are a number of different routes you can take to make it a different story than KGKUAN, you just have to know which ones are too close to the episode.

* "Comedy" is a verb.  Who said it isn't?

I've started work on a new solo fic called "Burning Heart".  My first in a little while.  The current plotline is very fluidic at the moment, so what has happened in the early works I've sent to a couple of PEELers (they know who they are  ;)) might change in time.

Anyway, here's a little taster/teaser of what might/might not happen!

Burning Heart

The Planet Express ship sat serenely on the burning hot beach, the waves of the Atlantic Ocean washing gently against its landing legs.  The entrance hatchway is open and on the roof there are 3 deckchairs that until recently appeared to have been used, but there are no signs of life.

After flying around the ship a few times, Amy decided it was time to land and find out what had happened to Leela, Bender and Fry.  She carefully aimed her jet-pac controls, so that she came down on the top step, unfortunately as she landed, she lost her footing and fell down them to the beach.

“Liu mang, you’re such a klutz, Amy” she yelled at herself, as she stood up and wiped the sand off of her sweatsuit and then carefully removed the jet-pac.  Laying it neatly on the sand, she set off up the stairs.

“LEEEELAAAA, BENNNDDDEER, FRRRRRY, why are you hiding?” she shouted numerous times down empty corridors and into empty rooms, before finally ending up outside the Engine Room.

“What are the chances of them being in here?” she asked herself, as she tentatively pushed the door open.  Before she had chance to react a faint humming sound she’d failed to notice suddenly got very loud, there was a blinding flash, followed by a brief spinning sensation, a strange feeling of being herself and then not being herself, then everything went black.

Okay, here goes:  The idea is to have Fry get punished for saving Zoidberg, considering nobody likes him anyway.  So, the Professor says he has to have the baby, and everyone agrees, expect Bender. Fry objects. Then Leela starts to feel sorry for Fry so she stands by him and vows to help him raise his kid.  Then that's when Fry accepts his fate.

Bender keeps egging Fry on to get rid of the baby, thus Bender keeps dragging Fry to fun places to show him what he's going to miss and what he's missing already.  I won't reveal the ending yet.  Plus, we learn that Zoidberg's 'jelly' if accidently swallowed by a human man or woman, they could get pregnant and in 3 months the baby will be due Because Zoidberg's species can only get pregnant for three months, as well.  I might right this one after The Road to Fanzipar.

You got the pregnant idea off that episode of American Dad. Which I thought it was funny with the kid but Fry? I like Fry. Eww! Just eww. Junior was the creepiest movie especially because Governator Arnold was the pregnant guy. Like Venus said, even the title is the same as when Kif got pregnant. I'd be very, very very, *repeat 50 times*, scared to read about Fry having a little Zoidberg grow in him.

EDIT: I agree with Dr. Thunder.

I'm going to be honest with you, Kurt.  That doesn't have much of the promise that the vague, earlier description held.  I mean, they hate Zoidberg so much that Fry is penalized for saving him?  That's uncharacteristically cruel.  And carrying a baby is punishment?  Do you portend that Earth in the year 3000-or-so is a topsy-turvy political landscape where--and this will press a few hot buttons--freedom is championed but Roe v Wade is somehow revoked or made to not apply to both sexes?

Childbirth and gestation termination are tricky subjects.  Writing about them                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       is powerful, but it needs to be dealt with delicately like wielding a sledgehammer during brain surgery.

I guess I should note that while I'm in the process of releasing the rewritten version of my first fic, Curse of the One-Eyed Jacks, I'm beginning work on the next piece that has been festering in my mind.  It uses the same drama/mystery format of my last two.  It also focuses on religion the same way that my second fic, The Social Order, focused on race.

The gossamer peace between three major religious forces in the Universe has been broken.  The Space Pope calls the faithful to arms against their theological and territorial rivals.  The other two major factions scramble to choose sides or meet the challenege.  Soon, Fry, Leela, and Bender find the Universe embroiled in a largely non-governmental holy war that threatens life (and simulated life) as they know it.  The only way to stop the fighting is to learn more about the mysterious history of the reptillian planet and track down a missing artifact.  What they find, however, is not what they expect.

Due out this fall, I imagine.

See I've been thinking on and off of doing a war of the worlds kind of thing. That's because of an interferense of Fry and Leela (with her being the other). And if I can think of a story that would make sense then I might do it.

But I'm not good with religion and wars like that. It's a challenge for me unlike Thunder.

OK, sorry for double posting. But like I said above I've been trying to work on an idea. Now I some what have one.

The story, there is a huge intergalactic war going on. The Doop has crossed the line with some aliens and they've declared war against earth and all the other planets that are with doop. What I want is for the reader to think that the story is about all of the PE's crews personal reactions to when Fry gets into an accident that winds him up in a coma. But it's really their reactions to the war. I have not worked out a lot of the details.

I don't want this to be so much as a war story, as a somesort of psychological. It makes you think. If people would be interested in this, I'd actaually like to do this project with another author. Strictly because I'm not good with working out war plots and things like that. It's hard for me. Comments?

Venus: It's symbolism apparently. But it's hard to explain my idea without saying that.

Thunder: I know. I'm sure everyone is tired of reading about Fry or Leela in a coma. By which I'm still working on finishing reading Layla's stories. It's coming along nicely. But rest assure Dr, I don't intend Fry to be in the coma the entire time.
