Hi everybody, it's been A while since I posted, and I have news about the 3d episode Gwan and I have been making. He wrote the script and is finding sounds for the episode, while I make all the 3d stuff. It will be around 5 minutes long, and it will include the characters Zoidberg, the hobo robot, the Robot Devil, and surprisingly enough, Leg Mutant. The script is complete (I want to surprise you with the story, so I wont tell you much about it) And I'm almost done modeling the different sets in which the episode will take place.
Sorry about all the boring text, but I felt like I had to fill you in on why I haven't been posting many models lately.
However, This following stuff is actually important! Gwan and I have had a problem with what to do about the dialogue. Obviously, we can't get the real voices, and the script is too complex for us to use bits and pieces of the dialogue fromactual episodes. We don't really want to use subtitles, because we've spent way too much time on this to have a weird silence every time someone talks, and I don't want subtitles to distract from the 3D. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Thanks.

Hi folks! For sure, I would do that test! Perhaps Zoidberg with water streaming around him could be a nice thing too and more realistic for an oversized shrimp I would try to simulate turbulence (eddies).

Me being the poor (and cheap) bastard person that I am I came across this free hair plugin to work with MAX. I've worked with it for a bit, and have even rendered some test images (they look like tribbles ) I just have to play around with it some more to change the color of the hair etc. There's tutorials on their website as well. It's a neat plugin, you add the hair and you can actually comb the hair in place or make it curly etc... Here's the link in case you're interested: http://www.ibmr.net/Ornatrix/

The animation is awesome! You even went to the trouble of animating the mouthflaps, and the texture on the cloth looks great too, although it looks at bit weird right at the end when he's jumping around. Fantastic work hobojobo, you're very talented.

I believe he's refering to me and hobo its not because I'm lazy its because I'm busy with real life, I havent even had a chance to work on my own Web Cartoon project lately, but believe me I'll be able to get it done for you extremely soon!
