That's great GFF!    Is it a scan or did you make it up? Also, do you have anti-aliasing activated on your scans?

But why did you use 2 different types of lines. Why did'nt you stay with the thin line?

I screwed up the lines, to be perfectly honest. I started with thick lines (on Fry) and didn't even notice, then used the preset shape tool for his eye, then noticed that the width was set on 6.91 and thought that it was because of the preset shape tool. Then I changed to 4 which I usually use.

Well, it's not free hand drawn. The lines are traced from a framegrab (I've posted a picture of the outline above), then I colored it, added the foreground (street and lines on the street, and the background (water, houses, sky) and blured it to make it look farther away.

You certainly managed to capture Leela from a very interesting angle. 

Looks awesome as always (though the fingers on the left hand looks a bit wonky), great to see you still get a few impulses. Here's hoping you get another one soon.

So do I! Unfortunately time isn't on my side at the moment, as I'm reeeally busy building up my portfolio for when I attempt to get into Uni later this year/early next year. I'm trying to get into one of, if not, the top University for Illustration and Animation in the UK... so no pressure then..

Well, here's a recent picture of mine that I put up at TLZ a few days ago, so I may as well post it here. It's actuall a promo picture for a in-progress fan fiction by writer, and good friend of mine, Christina Nordlander entitled The Search for Zapp. Might as well post it here, to spark some interest for when it gets released.

Very nice indeedy do. Is the woman the writters orginal creation? With eyes that large she reminds me of a certain character from UoM. Still very nice.

Yeah, the character is her's. Zeal Bao, and that's how she's described. Author approved too actually.   

Oh, and congrats!   

Edit: I'd like to add, Zeal is *nothing* like Alesia in personality. Really quite different, as the picture may illustrate.

3) Change arms to tentacles
4) Curl hair

 (Have you seen the "How to Draw"'s on the Season 3&4 DVDs? Really nice guides, them. And under concept art they have a Morris mouth chart. I just really want more of that. )

Not many places do animation still sadly. I found it difficult to find a place where I could do both. I can think of 4 places but I'm really not sure where is regarded as "best", mine fitted with what I wanted out of a uni so I went for it.
