Im almost finished with the lyric one and am done with the hippie one so Ill post the hippie one later, cuz i dont wanna look like a loser and post the first hippie one. Now if only I could find my damned colored pencils!

I thought that Bender frazzing out and having visions of psychodelic robo-erotic sky bound circuitry would be considered "hippy".
The Electric Bend-Aid Electro Tests would be a perfect Futurama version of the Electric Kool-Aid Acids Tests of the 60s.
And alas, I haven't a larger version.

I drew and colored Leela and the cloud by hand and then scanned the picture I drew into Adobe Photoshop Elements, where I blurred her hair and my shading, and then I created the background with the fill tool and the paint brush and the nebula was made with the paint brush and also the airbrush tool.

The colors are beautiful and bright, and Bender is right on! The shading is very impressive,too.

If you dont mind, TLL, could you increase the deadline a couple more days, my computer is in the shop getting fixed right now so I think I need maybe 1 or 2 more days for it to get done. (Im posting from my parents' PC)

Help!!! I've been captured by monkeys in suits, and a woman who wants me to move to sarasota.. I haven't been home in 3 days, and I don't have a sketchbook.
Translated that means I left my sketchbook at home, been working on a crazy ass deadline, I have a friend who's moving to Sarasota (whom I've hung out with for the past week straight), as well as a new job, and possibly I may be starting up school (Ringling) in Spring. I need my bachelors, and a fuching vacation, or a really stiff drink.

With the gracious deadline extension, I should be able to crack out my drawering, that .. or get some sleep.. Mr. Coffee to the rescue.

Now back to work before the masta' finds out I know how to disable/enable settings!

Honestly, I can understand your problems with damaged computers and friends from Sarasota and stress in general, but soon we should start a kind of contest-poll and I would like to see your artworks there. 
It would be nice if you could tell me and the other contest-contributers how your situation is yet. Can you tell us when you probably will post your art? (Please stay realistic with that, even if it would take another one or two days.)

Dammit, I just realized that I cannot make the deadline, do you want to know why? No, you probably dont, but the reason is that I needed a new wireless PCI card for my computer, and I gfot it ordered and I found out it didnt even ship until like 11:59 last night and it wont be here until friday by 4:30 P.M. God, I hate FedEx.

When is the deadline set to now? If it's tomorrow I might draw a little picture. But don't change the deadline for me, I might have forgotten how to hold a pencil.   

I have something drawn, I'm going to scan it and color it. It'll be up in about 30 minutes.   

Not the best here by far, but you wanted participants.

This should help. First you have to upload your picture to Imageshack or another good image hoster, like ooy said. Then just put the URL they give you with the image tags and you're done.

OK, I'm almost ready to start the thread, but I have a question for Ooy- is your drawing for the hippie or lyrics topic?

Also, it looks like 2 polls will have to be created just so that I can make sure that both topics (hippie and lyrics) are judged seperately, so don't be surprised to see more threads on this... if anyone else has a better idea so that I don't have to start 2 new polls, please tell me.
