Another Spin-off idea

As you know my SpyOrama is a spin-off, I created.  Well I have or had plans for another spin-off.  Using the idea from Futurama Comic issue 8, I was going to continue the adventures of the Planetexpress men.  My fanfic, "PlanetExpress Men Together" was a pilot much like "Fry Another Day" for SpyOrama.

I would make a few changes for this potiental spin-off

Professor- Professor X
Fry- Jean Grey
Leela- Cyclops
Bender- Wolverine
Hermes- Storm
Zoidberg- Beast
Amy- Rogue
Mom- Magneto


those were from the comic book now here are my ideas:

Scruffy- Nightcrawler
Labarbara- Colossus
Cubert-Pyro
Dwight- Ice man
Zapp- Robert Kelly
Kif- Gambit
Michelle- Mystique
Wernstrom- Striker
Morgan- Lady Deathstrike

I put this idea on hold.  Now, I'm just wondering if I should go through with this spin-off idea?

What a coincidence. It´s just yesterday what I saw X-Men 2.Just for detaile- isn´t the name of metamorph mutant correctly written "Mystique"?

Anyway it sounds good altough I don´t like much crossover spin-offs. All depends on execution.
Only thing that i do¨n´t like is Zapp as Pyro. They are very different characters even in this front of "mutations". What about Randy?

That would have implied that I was going to go forward with this idea, but right now it is in the 50/50 pile.

If I were going to go forward with this idea, it would take time to develop a possible story.  I'm already developing my next Futurama fanfic and SpyOrama installment.  However, if I decide to go forward, you can be sure that I will put a lot of effort into it like my other fanfics.

I'm starting to come up with the possible fanfic.  Right now it is PlanetExpressmen 3. The first being the comic book and the second, my fanfic.

PlanetExpressmen must rescue Zapp, a strong supporter on anti-mutants, from Momneto.  We will get to see her sons as mutants.

At first I was wondering why you would want Fry to be Jean Grey, and...uh...I still don't know. Is it because they both have red hair?

Fry was a parody of Jean Grey in the comic book.  He was Wonderboy, and plus it makes sense.  If Leela is a parody of Cyclops then Fry should be a parody of Jean Grey.

Well, I suggest you read that particular issue, issue 8.  It is funny and that gave me the idea to do a sequel fanfic and the idea about a spin-off.
