Wallpaper of Boredom and Clay blob?

..I'm new around here..
Well, I got a wallpaper I did with some crayons and a toothpick. Hope you enjoy em' - I made em' cuz I was bored.. and couldn't find one I liked.. and I was really bored.

The head looks realy good. Why don't you make a full body model of Leela, like the one from "the angry beavers" I saw on your homepage. Your sculptures are even better than some original merchandise I saw!

Thanks abunch,

Its made from Super sculpty, and I had a ton of reference material, about a 1/2" binder full of images, and a ton of inspiration. The head was just done as a test to see if I could capture the Groening style and translate it to a 3d Medium. Oh, and here's the semi finished/sanded head ready to be cleaned some more, and then painted.. or molded.. which ever..

Wow! Thats good stuff, Leela's head has never been so 3d...

Anyhoo, are those the Leela reference pictures that you were talking about in the background of the picture?

in the far right corner of the first one is a storyboard for a short I was making. There a production pic somewhere on my pc w/ a shot of the sculpt, a drawing I made of it, and the binder. And I just got a bunch of liquid plastic.. so I'm going to try and mold her.. and make replica's.

If you had the opportunity to purchase a leela head bust (painted and sorta packaged) .. would you?

I've been thinking about making copies of that and other sculpts, based on previous merchandise flaws (ie. crappy toys or no likeness to the characters)
I can also take requests for characters to sculpt/sell within REASON. No lifesize Leela requests or anatomically correct Fry's..
Though anything can be negotiated..
