I agree with Bofr@ 100%. My methode has always been: tracing and coloring in Flash 5, then use PSP7 for BMP->Jpg conversion/shading/various crap. Makes it much easier to resize without loss of quality, plus making smooth lines in Flash always seemed easier to me than doing it in PSP7. A great tutorial in the Flash 5 way can be found at Futurama Center.deOfcourse I'm drunk, so take my comments for what they're worth, although I believe my scans speak for themself. Edit: corrected at least some of the grammar errors.

Oh, the scan is good. Great work, and for a first try it's most impressive. I'll just jump at any oppurtunity for pimping my preferred (actually the correct therm is: only ) method of doing scans.

Eh, amusing Asylum. But I'd like it better if he was doing something stupid.

I'm quite surprised this particular scene haven't been wallpaperised yet (if it have I'm unable to find it), because frankly it's begging for it. Wallpaper coming soon, watch your local cyclop babe website.

That's very cool, JohnC. Even though I will recommend you to use the pen path tool if you are using photoshop, lines will come smoother. A brief one:

Ninth box down in the left column of the tools palette (it looks like a pen nib). To start the path, click and drag slightly in the direction of the line, then release. Move to the next point on the line, and click and hold. While holding, drag out the control arm: the direction you aim it in will be the direction the line points, while the amount you extend it by will determine the curvature of the section you’ve just drawn. When completed, you need to ‘stroke’ the path to make it into a line. It can be tricky until you get the hang of it.
