Inspiring The Artists

Do you have a good idea for a drawing, but not confident enough in your art skills to post it? Can you draw but don't have a scanner and no way to post?
Well, throw your idea in here. This is a thread for artists, and those who post, who have run into a brick wall and have artists block and need fresh ideas.
One thing: Don't demand the artist put your name along with their's on the art. Once you post it's their's to use or change. If they decide to put your name on it too, so be it.
Artists do not have to post inspired art in this thread, they can if they wish to, but can also use it in theirs.
Get the creative juices flowing.

I've been picturing a drawing of Leela battling some space monster in a more 'artistic' style (I was inspired by this drawing from Lord of the Rings), but I have nowhere near the skill to do it myself.

Hey artists, feel free to draw anything relating to my fanfic, "Universe of Malice", if you like 
It doesn't even have to relate to a scene, for example if Alesia is annoying you because she gets between Leela and Fry, you can draw Leela beating her up.

I've always fancied seeing Futurama characters parody characters from other shows and movies. I had an idea for a parody of The Rocky Horror Picture Show:
Fry as Brad
Leela as Janet
Bender as Riff Raff
The Professor as Frankenfurter
Zapp as Rocky
Amy as Magenta
I dunno, that's about as far as I can get so far.

More ideas:

Fry as Alex de Large from A Clockwork Orange

Bender as Bluto from Animal House (the famous picture of him pounding a bottle of Jack with his sweater reading "college" )

You could do Fry, Bender, Zoidberg and The Professor in face paint ala KISS.

Fry as James Bond, Bender as Jaws, Zoidberg as Blofeld.

Any fellow wrestling fans could do a Zoidberg/Goldberg parody.

Amy and Leela kissing like Madonna and Britney Spears did at the VMAs.

Anyway, if you're desperate, you should do a fan art inspired by the time I got a gummi penguin and a wooden Buddah lodged up my nose.  And then you should give me half of the money your brother makes off of it.

About the Samurai Amy picture, I have been stalling...

I just got The Slippery Slope (by Lemony Snicket) a half hour ago and I've been reading it most of the time. I'll get back to the picture ASAP.

Lemony Snicket is a pseudo-name for this author, forgot his real name. I'm gonna meet the real author next Tuesday in person (YAY) and I finished the book.

I hope you like an Amy holding nunchucks... those are two sticks with chain between, right?

EDIT: It's finished, I'll post it tonight/tomorrow morning, whenever I get to the scanner, basically. It's actually pretty good for having never drawn Amy before...

Pretty cool except that I'd cool it Ninja Amy, samurai's wore armour and used bladed weapons because they were they only ones by law who could.

Yeah, it's truly a great pic, but she's clearly a ninja. Or possibly a Shinobi.

Instead of Fry being frozen, Leela is somehow sent to the past, where she meets Fry (There's a fan-fic in my head if I could just get it out).
Fry knows shes from the future and he's showing her around old New York. The pic? Fry showing Leela around, and her reaction to seeing old New York. If an artist figures out how to do it, draw it any way you like.

I would take that challenge, but I live on the other side of the country. Haven't seen much of New York, except in Futurama 

Other suggestions that don't involve backgrounds? (For those that don't know, I can usually never draw backgrounds for the life of me. A little stick figure running from the burning PE building in the background of my latest pic was my best yet. Pathetic, I know.)

You've all seen pictures of Leela as Lara Croft. Personally I think Leela would look better in the Indiana Jones style. You know, soft hat, bullwhip, casual (but usually dirty/torn) clothes, etc. Any artist who agree with that?

If you're on Futurama Seasons, you'd know what the inspiration for this is.

Indeed. But seeing as how I am planning to start a Halloween art thread around midnight of October first perhaps the splatter can wait.

How about a band? Fry, Leela, Amy, Zoidberg, any other PE crew as a rock band
Fry as the lead singer and guitar, In the classic mouth open screaming into the microphone pose.
Leela Lead female vocals.
Amy Back up vocals Bass guitar.
Zoidberg drums.
How's that for inspiration Asylum-Fry?
Also I suppose I should say Any artist can use any thoughts in this thread to create art and unless dibs are called, such as in FemJesse's case, it's open field just because one artist does it doesn't mean another artist can't draw it in a completly different style or fashion.
