Originally posted by mazaite: My only complaint is that this is a Japanese Food Fair. Yet there is no Japanese food. Some of the most beautifull presentations I have ever seen were Japanese. The art of the food should take precidence. You gotta entice the stomach for something like that. But then again you know the teacher and in art it's really about what the teacher wants to see. Wrongo. Its an INTERNATIONAL food fair that TAKES PLACE in Japan. So by showing the arbitrary noodle, I leave the ethnicity of the food open to interpretation (Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean... whatnot)I could even throw a meatball in there if I really wanted to fuck with some minds... Edit: Plus, some of the other students are focusing on the "Japanese presentation" aspect. So that's OUT. Bowl? Background color?
