Okay, now I know I made a topic asking for a framegrab last week, but I need two more. Would somebody be able to make a DVD-quality framegrab of 2 things for me please? I need an exterior shot of the Planet Express headquarters at day-time, and an exterior shot of Earth.

Once again, I apologize for doing this again, but I really need these 2 framegrabs. If you can provide them, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

You can usually get away with posting requests in the test thread in the Off-Topic forum, like I do whenever I need framegrabs.  :) Somebody usually comes up with them sooner or later.

Ok here's one of the PX building.

I'll have a look for the earth soon...

Edit:

Ok here is the earth:

A nice shot with the PX Ship (225KB)
The Same shot without the PX Ship (217KB)

There is probably a closer/bigger shot of earth, but unless you tell me the episode I can't be bothered to search for it.

BTW, what are all these for?

If anyone does want DVD grabs, just mail me or put a post on here. I won't guarantee I'll do it, but as I have nothing to do till 8th october (Lazy Student) you've a good chance that I'll be bored enough to do it.  :)

P.S. Or buy the DVDs. and a DVD drive for your computer.

If you must know - these are for a comic I'm working on. I try not to use framegrabs in the comic - but the Planet Express building is just too detailed to draw in such a small box, and the Earth would be impossible to get in Futurama style unless a framegrab is used. Like I said - I try not to use framegrabs in my comics, but there are some situations where there's no alternative.

Anyway, thanks for the framegrabs, SixByNine - but they're not working. Would you be able to email me? My adress is beamer@spgamers.zzn.com (I know it can be found in my profile, but I figure typing it here will save you the 2 or 3 seconds it takes to load  :p).

Assuming you are the same beamer that did the comic on TLZ then good work, its one of the few fan comics that I realy enjoyed. About the grabs not working, that is because the f**king server has mysteriously vanished of the face of the earth. Email on its way...

I think you can use Power DVD. I do have tjhat but I can't seem to get into it. I do do some framegrabs but they end up in a mess.

I use WinDVD (Pretending to be ABIT SiluroDVD4). Having used both I would have to say that it is better than PowerDVD.

I basically have no DVD drive on my computer, nor do I have any link between my PC and my TV - so this is really the only way I can get requested DVD framegrabs.

And yes, SixByNine - I am the same Beamer who made that fan comic on TLZ. Thanks for the comments, glad to hear you liked it. Also, I got the framegrabs too - they were fine.
