and since he couldnt make it much darker, lighter is the only way to go!

It's dark because I always work on a dark background so that I don't leave any spaces in the colouring, I wouldn't notice them if the background was light. Also, I've only coloured one wing and the hair... of course you can't see anything else on it, because I haven't done it yet, read the post.

This is taken from a short comic I'm doing, based on my routine. It's the design sheet of the main  character (me). The thing I'm carrying is my tool box full of art supplies.



EDIT: Just incase you haven't noticed I'm low on futurama fan art ideas.. and I'm not really any closer on finding any new ideas. so it might be a while before you see any more.

hehe, i like this facial expression. you look as if even a little child getting hit by garbage truck couldn't motivate you to change the expression and i definitely like that.

also, i sure wouldn't mind to see the finished comic...

Well, I wasn't going to bother showing it until it's finished (and that's a long way off, trust me) But seeing as two people seem genuinely interested here's frame 1 (waking up):



I'm actually doing this for college, which means the comic will be more 'Arty' than anything else.

That first pic of you for the comic is great. your expression is simular to mine in the morning. The kind where buildings could be exploding in front of you but  you still got that look on your face, heheh.

i agree with all other positive reviews of the waking up picture.
that is just the face everybody who hates getting up early (and i hate it with passion) makes. every morning. if he can open his eyes at all.

ps: i don't mind "arty" stuff at all. in fact, i personally often liked it better, so i'm definitely looking for forward to it (if you want to post further scans)...

well, i for one can't be motivated to move the muscles in my face to look angry on 4 of 7 days, when i have to get up at 6:30.

Wow, that very nice!  I love the look of innocence on Angel Fry's face, while Devil Leela's looks are most seductive.  It's great the way that her tail is resting on his stomach, too.
