Because the purpose of hospitals are usually to cure the sick patients, not complicate their illness through lust-induced strokes and veins popping in their heads.

Damn, I thought I'd be able to get away from here for a while before creating another thread, curses Fred. Well, I might aswell show you this that I've been working on, It's only the rough sketch that I did on the wacom (I haven't even drawn in Leela's ponytail yet). I added in some crappy shading so you can imagine the finished thing, I was going to finish this in all it's full colour painted glory and then use it as my special "opening thread" picture in a few weeks.

That looks pretty interesting TV.  I can't wait to see the completed version of it.  Leela looks interesting without the ponytail.  Maybe you could do a picture of her without one?

Great picture, TV. I like the giant rampaging robot feel. Too bad we can't hear horrible dubbed, heave accented American dialogue coming from Fry and Leela.

Beautiful stylus work.  This helps me better understand how you work.  Are you going to use the paths tool for cleaner lines, or going to leave it with the sketchy quality?

I love that new giant Bender pic, the style and shading is really unique and clool. Just proves you can draw Bender as great as the others

Well, I made some slight changes to the Bender picture. I didn't like where the first one was going so I redid it, again 100% drawn with the wacom. The shading took four and a half hours, and was done with the 1 pixel paintbrush. I'll try and get it coloured on Saturday, I've got more driving lessons tomorrow.

Oh yeah, the bottom of Bender legs and his foot cups aren't done because (hopefully) they'll be covered up in the final image.

Is anybody interested in helping me out writing a short story that I can illustrate as a Futurama comic,
there are some rules though:

• It has to be (slightly) funny
• It can't suck
• It has to be easily converted into pictures, so not lots of scenes and dialogue.
• It has to be interesting to illustrate, i.e I get a chance to draw spaceships or something

About the writing, I am interested, very much so. I could probably come up with a story not very long that could be illustrated in 1/4 panels (4 panels to a page) Do you have preferances? Can it be a sequal to an existing story, or do you want it to stand on it's own? Can it be based on your previous art? What characters do you want in the story? The whole PE crew, Fry Leela Bender, F, L, B, and Amy? or is it writers preferance?
Give me a good idea where to start and I'll give it a shot.
Also I would like to color some of your previous art works that are in black and white. May I have permission, Sir?
