...your problem here is
1) It's in the cache of webshots.com
2) It's a .tmp file

...both suggesting that this file is temporary, and has been moved from this location

I don't think there is any real scan... I think it's existentialism.  The human condition as implied by a red X.  By dashing our hopes to see a scan, the artist shows into sharp contrastthe human condition of expecting gains that are never delivered.

Good God, someone really needs to shut me up.
