I resent that everyone thinks I have to be high to come up with such things...  I'm straightedge!  My first idea of hell for cats was just fish, mice, and birds in a tree limb.  (I have a sick liking of things being "Just out of reach"... but then I remembered that cats can climb) I also thought that maybe the cat should be in an expanse of water???

I think my linework has been very heavy and ridiculous lately.  In the following attempt I have made the skin detail more ambiguous.  Venus di Urbino and Olympia STILL got nothing on her:



I guess I lied about not drawing her nude much... I think this is rather tasteful, and her position mimics a lot of paintings I've studied.

Gouche is the stupidest paint in the world.  It's different to use, expensive, and has all the faults of watercolors with all the expectations of acrylics.
