I think they're pretty clool, and yeah, the reflection on the last pic is nice

Yeah, they're not bad at all. Good work. Particular with the backgrounds.

The trick (usually) to make them look "not like crap" is to increase the colordepth to "true color" or 24 bit or whatever your chosen image program calls it (PSP7 calls it 16 mill (24bit)). That way the lines will be a lot smoother once you resize the image.

i cant find anything about more colors in photoshop 5 that i'm using
i think this turned out great tho...

doesn't he look like JFK (i mean radio city mutant hall) or something?

Look pretty nice, but like Teral said, maybe you need to change something with colors

like what?  i don't know where the color limitations are set
also, for some reason the original pic, his collar is white but his shirt is blue, it didnt make sense so i blued his collar   
holy crap, i think this thing is limited to 256 colors!!!
i just found and i can only pick from 1-8 bit and i cant have more than 256 colors
thats mental!

Also, your lines are too thin, and you need to make them less angular. Take more time to make the curves smooth. Zoom in very close when you do them.

As above, they're good, but try increasing the line width to around 4 - 7 pixels. You may (or may not) find working with bezier curves etc easier - I know I do.

4-7 pixels? i use ONE! and the only tool i have is pencil or line, i dont have bezier or that one in the scan instructions on gotfuturama.com
and i do my work at 300%
also it was really really hot when i did them so i was hurrying

Good pictures (the fry refection is the best in my opinion).

I got a question to ask, when you've finished of your pic do you colour it in with pencil first or do you use a program like photoshop? when i do my art, i dont have the proper colors to do them (its usually just a black & white pic but with shading ect) but im now currently in the middle of coloring a Leela pic i scaned today in photoshop. anyway do any of you guys use programs like photoshop or psp for the colors?

I've always loved this guy and i finally got around to doing this

i just did another one that i expanded the background to 1024x768 and i put boots on him... makes a nice background
also i dl'd a program which cycles my background every 10 minutes between about 3 dozen futurama pics =)

Uhh... pencil?  that little button on the toolbar? that would take forever to fill in!

Okay, its been a while, but i like this one best of all, this took a LONG time.
unfortunately its a little more realistic than it is artistic... i'm gonna have to learn to be more abstract...
