LAN.gnome scans YOU!

Since I've been toying with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop the past few days, I've been seeking out new ideas to hone my skills. Taking a picture of myself that I liked, I traced the broad details of the photo creating a simple, cartoon-like caricature. I was so pleased with the results that I decided that I would try to do the same for pictures of my fellow PEELers.

I scoured the "It's Me!" and "Rogue's Gallery" threads looking for approriate pictures of the more frequent posters. In addition to myself, the only one I have completed so far is one of SamuelXDiamond. So here's both of the scans I've made so far.

I'll try to come up with some kind of phrase to put under each PEELer scan, too. More as I finish them.

Ah, to be scanned again. And also a robot.

I Futurama-ized a few people, in that I scanned the Futurama character most similar to you and changed it to suit your appearence. Hence my avy, which is me and Fry melded. I did a Paul one too. (Paul from FSAC). Those are looking fine LG, keep it up.

If some of your facial features seem out of proportion or misplaced, it's becasue part of your face was washed out by the sun's glare in the picture I used, so I had to guess in places. I think I was pretty close overall. The headphones look really nice, I think.

BONUS - Anyone who knows the source of the quote under Marg's portrait gets 500 cool points.

yeah it was not the best pic of me 'cause webcam changed colors (my hair is actually blonde-orange) etc. but still looks cool!
