EDIT EDIT: Finally managed to neaten things up by pasting the posts together! It wouldn't let me post all at once, but editing step by step seems to have done the trick.Well, I've done a few of these now, so thought I'd break out and create my own thread.. Heres the work so far: The mad scientist from the end of Spanish Fry.. my second attempt at shading, and I think it came out pretty good.. My first attempt at shading.. didn't turn out too bad, but I don't think the colours are quite rich enough to do the original frame ( Godfellas) justice This was the very first scan I attempted, neatened up and smoothed after I'd experimented on Zoidberg. The grab comes from Fear of a Bot Planet. Man, I got that rabbit to look hacked off. Unintentionally you understand, but I thought it was kinda funny. Fry looking vacant from Raging Bender.. I should have neatened up a few of those lines on the towel. The first scan I used beziers to smooth the outline of.. and the first one I uploaded to PEEL too! It's from Why Must I Be A Crustacean In LoveMore as & when...

Thanks for the kind words everyone! @Marg: The topic script wouldn't let me post with everything all in one, hence the sextuple post. @Yorokobi: Thanks for sticking up for me, but relax a little.. we're all friends here Another grab from Spanish Fry: I tried to put a little extra emotion in this grab, though I'm not entirely sure if it really works though. Also, don't you just hate it when you've outlined half the image only to realise that you've still been on the background layer? D'oh!

Experimentation. The following is an 8 frame animation of Fry doing the Hustle from Jurassic Bark: That's just the little version.. full size (50k) version can be found at: http://www.aqwh78.dsl.pipex.com/scans/fryhustle-anim.gif The animation is made up of 8 scans of seperate frames from a Media Player window. I mostly listened to Bis: Silver Spoon and The Bluetones: Marblehead Johnson while scanning. EDIT: Heres a proper scan from Why Must I Be a Crustacean in LoveEdit edit: Paul: mail sent!
