General Fanart - Take Two

I don't mean to be annoying about this, it's not realy that important, but here is the origanal, next to mine and (apart from the .jpg effects) they both look ok to me.
Can anyone else give an opinion, as it is possible it is my monitor.

Edit: Yes I know my scan is almost the same as the DVD grab, it's not that I'm not inventive, just that I thought it was a nice scene for a wallpaper.

Great stuff guys. If you look here you can see the picture that I said that was inspied by Femjesse. It's kinda a bit bigger but I've resized it alot nd if I need to again I will.

I've been working on this martian spaceship. I was planning to make a background but there is so much detail on the bottom of the ship that it is taking me ages. I think I'll just leave it as it is at the moment.



If I get bored again I'll finnish off the details and make it into a backdrop.

That scan of the Mars Martions ship is so awesome, SixByNine. It's one of the best scans I've ever seen, extremely clool! 

You should re-size it and make it into an avatar as well or something, it's quality

I am having trouble avatarising it as I can't cope with the limitations of the GIF format. If anyone else can do it please have a go.

To Nefnar: If you would be honorable as I am hoping, then I would be honored to let you color my pic. Please. There are few people talented enough to do that kind of coloring, and you are one of them.

EDIT: Oh I'm making a scan of my own (verrrry poor quality) to show you what color I'd prefer things... but you can fool around with the colors if you prefer a different one. I won't object.

Wow, there's so much stuff appeard while I was asleap. Lee, that watercolour is great (I realy like the um... goddamit I'm a scientist not an artist, I just like it ok.)

Asylum: nice sketch I'll take a look at your other thread.

Nefnar: Realy great too (See I've run out of describing words already) I especialy like the awsome express crew backdrop. (Note: I can't be sure but I think 1280x1024 is more common than 1280x960)

leelaholic: I wish I knew what that reminded me of. Never mind, I'll think of it eventualy.

Here is the completed martian ship, along with a backdrop version with mars and stuff behind the ship. The stars on the window are supposed to be reflections. I'm not sure about the window effect, but I think it looks better than the origanal.
