Has there been any serious stories written in the futurama universe.

I mean dark, gritty, violent stories. If not would anyone be against me writing one.

My "Secrets & Eyes" trilogy got pretty violent toward the end...

that was nothing! where was the death, emotional agonly, blood spray!!!???

yours was mostly a rather confusing sequence of fighting with an attempt at humor with fry trying to help but failing horribly.

not that the story was bad, just not all that violent. then again, when you are 25 anything that doesn't involve sex drugs and rock and roll is pretty much rated G for good for nothing pice of  crap.

Alrighty then, but I don't want any of you complaining when it gets too gruesome. I am a sick little puppy and I mean to show it.

I like Brad Rousse's stories a lot. They're not gruesome but they're certainly dark, some of them. Also if you want to read a Futurama story with no humour in it whatsoever try my stories.  :)

TLZ, of course. He's actually one of my favourite writers. I read his stories before I'd even watched a handful of episodes so I got an unrealistic portrayal of the characters from the begining ironically but they're still really good.

Here is a screenplay I was working on, just to give you an idea of what I can do.

Although the majority of fanfics written have been very serious (I wrote one from a more comedic perspective once and it turned out awful), I say go ahead and do whatever you want. Just stick to your own style here and we'll tell you what we think.

i expected more, but it is just a sample, a little hint, loose the camera angle shots. this is not a movie, it only made me skip ahead several lines. it was boring, and i had no idea what was going on. also, it wasn't all that dramatic at all.
