Sad News, Maybe.

As I have announced in a jokey manner on FSAC today, I am in all seriousness thinking of taking a temporary retirement from the art scene for a fair old while.

I've been doing art for 2 and half years now, on a daily basis, so guess I've burnt myself out.  I've have accumulated in excess of 500 arts (that I can account for) in that time.

I know when I decide, that I can leave the Fan Art section submissions in the capable hands of Impossible, Juliet, Lee, Sean, Teral and others too numerous to mention.

I know this may upset (sort of) some of you and make some happy (God knows why!), but I'll let you all know, when I do decide.

I know for definite I have one more wallpaper planned, so the announcement will be after that has been launched.

Well I think it is sad in a way. But it's your decision...unless we enslave you and force you to make more artwork at bayonet pointbut that's another story...

As long as you don't disappear completely, all the best with what you decide

That would indeed be sad news, but it's your decision to make.

I will just take comfort in the little word "temporary" (okay, so it's not axactly a small word, you know what I mean), as it could mean we'll see your work again one day.

That's not something good to wake up to! But I'm sure that Impossible, Juliet, me, Sean and Teral can keep the place alive by sending new art! But I'm sure that you could just do one scan a month! please?

I hope he doesn't give up totally, otherwise I'll feel guilty for taking so much of his time asking questions about art and websites and stuff.

I like Teral will hold hope in the word temporary, as it's a nice word and can me a short length of time.

I guess doing that much art, must be hard - I'll slow down a bit otherwise it might happen to me.

In a way it is sad news for the site, but I'm not leaving it.  I haven't been the main submitter to my own site for ages now, so I don't see it having much affect in the short-term.

I may do the odd one every so often, if I work up enough impotus to do something.  I've got one wallpaper to do and another that I had forgot out to light shade, so I ain't gone yet.
