Yes, i know a tattoo might sound crazy.  It's my personal choice however.  I didn't start this thread to see who thinks i should get one or not.  I just want to find a real good picture of bender doing a pose where he looks as if he's laughing, but not exactly doubling over.  Kind of like a jovial laugh.  Anyone wanna draw a picture i can use?

Yeah, I feel ya. If you're going to get a tattoo, you're going to want the best one out there. I suggest looking at scans. They provide clean lines and colors. I've seen plenty of good Bender scans, but I suggest you do the looking. Just look on CGEF.

I'd get a tattoo but I'm a big wuss when it comes to little needles depositing permanent ink into my flesh.  :x

Anyway, I have one of Bender laughing... he's kind of holding onto his stomach and laughing, but it's a scan.  It's on my lj background... If you want you can save my background and use the pic of him laughing.  n___n

Hey LittleMiss, it looks like you slipped and bumped your head in one of your pictures.  The expression on your face is like "Ow... why does my head hurt" lol  About this tattoo, I hadn't want one until just starting last week.  It hit me suddenly out of nowhere.  I'm about to be 20, and I haven't grown out of cartoons... don't think i ever will.  I did for awhile, but never again! Mwhaha.  Ok enough rambling... thanks for the help so far.

Yeah, I think Bender's awesome, but I'd never get a tattoo of a cartoon character 'cos I'm constantly going through new phases and obsessions.  I remember once I wanted a tattoo of ze Mole from the South Park movie.

Anyway, LoL, I know, I look like I have an owwie in that pic.  That's how it's supposed to look!  It's just a silly pic!  Are you gonna use any of the Benders from my background, though?

T-shirt is way too easy to take off when you get bored of it, where is the challenge in that..

WHo can get sick of it, its too sick for that.
And tattoo can always be removed with laser surgery what only costs around 10,000 $ or something like that.

I'm not trying to lecture, but I can't help it.  Myto, sure you can take the T-Shirt off if you're bored, but seriously, what if one day you find yourself not really caring for the show anymore?  You might say that'll never happen, but really, how do you know?  In 6th-9th grade I was *obsessed* with South Park.  And I mean totally obsessed.  More than I am with Futurama now, but phazes like this pass, and getting a tattoo wouldn't really prove anything, or do much.  It might look cool, but when you're old and your skin gets all saggy and gross, you're not gonna want that tattoo anymore.  And ONLY $10,000 to get it removed?  Are you rich or something?  Because to normal people that's a helluva lot of money, especially for some little trend such as this.

Don't get me wrong, I *love* Bender, but I sure as hell wouldn't get him permanantly drilled onto my body just because I think he's cool.

I still love ya Prowla!  lol.  I'm not trying to do what girls do best and bitch.  I just can't help it!  ;x  lol

I've gotta reply to this.  :)

In 6th-9th grade (What's that in age wise? 12-15?) you are a teen and things come and go so quickly it's a joke. Life moves fast and old people who are "past it" and not "hip" to be in with the "street" "lingo" are left behind, dude!

But Prowla said she is 20. I'm 18. I've wanted to get a tattoo for a while now, and I still do. I'd get it done somewhere easily coverable such as my back or shoulder, but still I think they look kinda cool. Many people get tattoos and don't regret it. Of course many people do regret it aswell... so I would still think very carefully.

As for the $10,000 thing... me thinks that was just a joke  :)

You only live once, why not go for it. Unless you get a tattoo that would affect your future job prospects (below a short sleeve on arms for example) or future dating prospects (generally scary piercings and tattoos, unless you like equally scary people with piercings and tattoos) in which case I would think VERY carefully about it.

If you get it done, show us a piccy  :)

And I still like you LittleMiss         :D   :D

No, actually the $10,000 thing is true, it just depends on the size of the tattoo.  I watched a video on it in Anatomy when we were learning about skin.

That's okay Archie, I still like you, too!  I just complain a lot and stuff... I'm kinda like Leela, trying to set people in the "right" direction or whatever. lolz.  Don't mind me!  =^_____^=

And thank you, Juliet!!

Hey Prowla, get OL so we can finish our RP! :x lolz

ive got a tattoo. 2 actually, not Futurama related though. People told me id get tired of them eventually but 2 years later i still love my first tattoo and 1 year later i still love my second. It does help if you plan your tattoo way in advance. i planned a year before i got either of mine.

Lol, first off... I'm a 'he'... not a 'she' and not even a 'the'.   :)  I've been deciding on a tattoo for over 3 years now.  I've always wanted a tattoo of a tiger, but something about Bender suddenly hits me.  It's something I could live with.  Some people really enjoy a cartoon enough that they're willing to get the tattoo of it.  Even if the cartoon characters are old like Snoopy.  Believe me, Futurama is no passing craze for me whatsoever.  :)
