Well, my long-awaited (?) story is finished. It's called "Error from the Year 2000," and should be up soon at The Leela Zone, under my TLZ alias Mysteryman.

I mentioned it before somewhere, but it's been a while. In the story, Fry wakes up and discovers that he's back in the year 2000, that he was only frozen a month, and that his life in the future was all a dream. Don't go looking for my previous description if you don't remember it, because it'll spoil a surprise in the story.
The story is unconnected to "Last Shot" or "First Time," by the way.

I'm now ploughing into my new fanfic, currently called The Amazing Adventures of Liebe und Leben, which I started since I've hit a block concerning my one for FuturamaSeasons. It is also ironic since without knowing, I started on the day before the 70th anniversary of the birth of Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin - you'll see why this is important when you read it.
My current one, ergo, the one I finished recently, will be released shortly, after various people get back to me, especially translators. The brand new one is to have what is hopefully a much wider scope but be at least half the length if not hopefully less. A lot of page space was/is taken up in my first one by me writing it like the target audience has never heard of Futurama - this one I'm saving space by writing barely any introduction to the existing characters, trusting the reader is as big as fan as I am. This one is a more action/dialogue driven one - so hopefully it will be not quite so long. I'm directing my fire purely at quality rather than quantity. Also there will be barely any foreign language (that's not made up) so time spent depending on translators will hopefully be minimal. My main goal is to finish it this year. I cannot garuntee it, but I surely hope to see it done.

Proof that i am still writing my 'The Sting' fic. Despite my tendency to only write like one page a week. I suck. It was starting to look more and more like she would never wake up. Fry still refused to believe that, but a small part of him couldn’t help but wonder whether he was being irrational and refusing to accept the reality that was right in front of him. Hope was getting harder and harder to cling to. Even the others had seemed to accept Leela‘s loss and were beginning to move on. Amy had started going on missions with Bender, Hermes, and Zoidberg and the question had been raised of when Fry himself would be returning to work. He hadn’t been able to answer them. Even thinking about leaving Leela made him feel like a deserter. Obviously he couldn’t spend the rest of his life in this room with her and maybe someday he would be able to walk away, but today wasn’t that day.
With another heavy sigh he took her limp hand in his and kissed it gently.
“Y’know I always love spendin’ extra alone time with you Leela, but this really isn’t what I had in mind…I really miss you.” Fry told her softly.
He welcomed the interruption when the door opened and Bender sauntered in. He was more than ready to have a conversation with someone who would talk back.
“I can’t believe yer still just sittin’ in here!” Bender raged, “You have no idea all the stuff yer missin out on!”
Fry shrugged apathetically.
“Well it just so happens,” Bender continued, “That yer’s truly has two front row tickets to tonight’s big Squid Fight. And I might just be willin’ to let one go…if the price is right.”
“You know I can’t.”
“Why the hell not?”
Fry gave him a pointed look. “You know why.”
“Aawwww come on! It‘s Squishy Joe versus The Inkinator!”
“Just go without me.”
“But it’s no fun alone.” Bender admitted pathetically.
“Get a floozy.”
“And pay ‘er hourly rate? These tickets were expensive!”
Fry held out his hands. “I don’t know what to tell you, Bender. I can’t go. I can‘t leave Leela.”
“What’s the big deal anyway? There’s plenty’o fish in the sea y’know.”
Fry gave Leela a longing look. “I don’t want any other fish. I want my fish.”
“But we can get you a new fish. With two eyes, and a friendlier disposition!”
For a moment Fry looked confused. “Wait, we are still talking about women, right?”
“My point is, she never gave you th’time a day and yet here you are just waiten fer ‘er to wake up and reject ya some more. It don’t make any sense!”
Fry looked thoughtful for a moment, then shrugged. “I can’t help it. I love her.”
“But she don’t love you back.”
“I know, but she’s still my friend, and I gotta be there for her.”
“Oh like she’d really know one way or the other.” Bender scoffed.
“I’d know.” Fry stated firmly. “I’m not leaving her.”
“Yeah, well, yer loss.”
Fry shrugged. “I guess so.”
“If yer lucky I just may get you one of those giant foam hand things.”
“Aww thanks buddy.”
“If you pay me for it.”
Fry held up a five dollar bill. “Can’t say I didn’t see that coming.”
Bender accepted the cash and headed for the door, but paused for a minute. “Y’know you can’t stay in here with ‘er forever.”
Fry nodded. “I know,” he said softly. “But I’m just not ready yet.”

Part 5 of my Epic "The Fry-Trix :Rebooted" will be up tomorrow or wed. Fry and Leela attemept to devise a plan to stop the sentinels from destroying the city. There last option is help from Zapp Brannagin. I a strange coincedence, Zapp has devoloped new technology in high stakes war fare. Will Zapp's army be strong enough to stop a army of squid like machines? Find out. I know that "Rebooted" follows closely to "Revolutions" but that's the idea since the first one followed "Reloaded" without the talky mumbo jumbo. I'm still adding in originality in order to stop people from calling it a rip-off. Also, no one should call it a parody. It's not making fun of the genre.

Hey everyone Just a quick update on UoM. Progress has slowly been made, and here's what's going on. Firstly, there definitely *is* going to be two more chapters instead of one. Secondly, I've pretty much made the split up at the moment, and the first part (24) is nearly finished. Mainly going through editing. Thirdly, the final (25) still needs a lot of work, so it'll be a while... however, since Chapter 24 is nearly done, I'm hoping to have it released sometime within the next two weeks. I don't want those reading it to forget what's happened so far and/or lose interest. So, to sum things up, expect Chapter 24 soon. Hopefully before the month's end. Then, the finale should appear a month or so after that.

i have a taster for my first bit of fan fiction, to be posted a leela zone, if they'll have me.
in the depths of robot hell… shouts of pain and anguish echoed around the cavernous pit as robots where punished for turning their backs on the religion they had so quickly and easily embraced after various sins. In a large office the robot devil sat humming a familiar song to himself. He looked down at the list in front of him. On it where a few names. DonBot, Joey Mousepad, Clamps, all of whom had been religious until they became mobsters, HookerBot 3000, Destructor, and finally Bender. All the rest of the names on that list were crossed out except that one. That name he would hate for all time. The only robot to escape the cold, hard grip of his metal claws. This was his revenge list. All had been squared apart from Bender. He thought back to that day he would never forget. The day his name became soiled.
FLASHBACK. “Hell is other robots”. Bender, Leela and Fry escaping. END FLASHBACK.
He would get revenge, and get even with Bender B. Rodriguez and his friends if it was the last thing he did…
would spoiler if knew how!
