I remember making one drawing of Leela some 12 months ago, looked at it, and thought: "screw it! I'm just gonna do scans. No need to give people nightmares".

I think I still have it, somewhere. If I can find it I'll post it. Be warned, as I recall it's worse than Paul's. Looks okay, btw, Paul.

Yeah, I have to say you do draw a better Bender than I do, with or without a computer  ;)

I like them, it's brave of you to post art like that, in comparison with what you produce with a computer.

Ahem, Bender's not quite there  ;) but the Amy is really good! I can't draw anything human, however i'm quite good at still-life stuff.

I don't think it really matters if you can reproduce Groening's drawing style perfectly yourself. What's the point of being to reproduce it as accurately as a scanner or photocopier when a scanner or photocopier will always be able to do it better? Developing your own style is far more interesting than creating carbon copies of somebody else's.

Well, finally found it:

And, yes, it's drawn while looking at a framegrab, not sure which though. Probably from SP3K, Amazon Woman In The Mood, or other episode where Leela wears her FAO uniform. Hence why I chose to do scans, I mean if I'm going to use framegrabs as inspiration, I might as well make it look good.

Put it this way, it's better than Leela's I've drawn to date.  Looks more like the ep was The Honking, she looking kinda scared and wondering where the were-car is.  In fact, I think, I've got a wallpaper of that image on FSAC.
